Bavarian Women's Designer Midi Dirndl Madeleine Dress 2-Pieces + Apron

Exactly as pictured and high quality. As others have said, size up. I typically wear a 2 (32) and the 34 fit perfect. Very happy with this dress.

Love love love it. This is absolutely adorable. I’m going to Oktoberfest in Germany next month and have been researching high quality outfits. I was disappointed with the selection so I decided to buy all the pieces separately to build my own outfit and I’m glad I did.I originally ordered one size up (14) and realized the zipper would only go about halfway up. I returned it very easily and re-ordered two sizes up (16). It fit perfectly! For reference, I’m 5’4, 36B, 200 lbs and typically wear a size 12-14.I will say it looks more like a light purple or muted pink. I expected a more vibrant color, but the material is so nice. The chain in the front is a wonderful accent. The lace apron is just gorgeous. It’s worth every penny.

I bought this to wear to Oktoberfest in Germany. I didn't want to spend a fortune, but didn't want a "costume" dress either. This fit the bill perfectly. I'd say it fit true to size, however I did order 2 sizes up. My dress size is always 1 to 2 sizes bigger than my actual size so for me, that is true to size. I'm well endowed so I usually have to go bigger then, take in the waist, but in this case it actually fit great without any alternations. The color was exactly as pictured. The fit was pretty good, but did have some odd pulling here and there, it sat just a tad above my waist and the neck line was a bit crooked. Not sure if that's the dress or just how it fit on me, regardless that's the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Overall it's a beautiful dress in which I got several compliments on was very happy with it. My husband is profession beer brewer so we actually attend many Oktoberfest type celebrations so I'm sure I'll get many more wears out of it in the future and am even considering ordering another on in a different color.

I’m a big girl or I’m short for my weight! Either way I do not like purchasing cotton because there is no give so I was nervous about purchasing this on–line. We are going to Germany for Oktoberfest and I want to have an amazing experience so our tour guide recommended dressing up for the event it was recommended to check out Amazon by our German host. I was quite happy with the variety of colors. So I took my measurements and added 2 inches to everything. It fits perfect like it was tailored to me! This is my second outfit this one is the pretties and my favorite. The attention to detail is beautiful. If I could only purchase one this would be it! I’m glad I added 2 inches to everything if I hadn’t I don’t think it would have fit. Material color and quality are perfect!!!

When I initially ordered my dirndl this was not available in a size 10 so I ordered it in a 12, and three others in different colors in a size 10 (I feel a little guilty returning so many but last year I ordered a different brand and it was a little too big and then I lost weight, so I wore it once and gave it to my daughter-in-law - but the return policy is a major benefit of Amazon Prime). I kept the 12 and returned the others but it was a little too big, and then the 10 became available so I ordered that, compared how they fit and returned the 12. I really love the color and quality of this dirndl. My size tip is to measure your waist at the narrowest part just above your naval and use the size chart.

I am 5'9" 130. Bra 34a and waist 28. I ordered a 4-6 and was sent a euro size 36. I could barely zip it up, and even then unable to breathe. This runs REALLY small.It is a gorgeous dress, and I am sending back for a larger size!

Love love love this dress!!! The fabric quality is pretty good! Not as good as one you would find in Germany but this one is cheaper. Does not look costume (short skirt, cheap fabric). It’s going to be perfect for Oktoberfest. The size chart was accurate for me. I had to size up just a little only because they didn’t have my size available.

This dirndl was GORGEOUS and amazing quality. Unfortunately I took another reviewer’s suggestion and ordered two sizes up and it was SWIMMING on me. I had to return it. Also, it’s much less pink in person and more mauve. That didn’t matter to me, but just a heads up.

Das Dirndl sieht gut aus, die Qualität ist auch gut. Leider ist es am Busen zu groß, so dass ich es zurückschicken musste. Der Service ist topp, ging alles zügig vonstatten.

Ich liebe dieses Dirndl.Es sitzt wirklich sehr gut. Es setzt nicht auf (wovor ich bei Dirndl eigentlich immer Angst hab)! Es fällt schön.Hätte es auch eine Nummer kleiner bestellen können aber so hatte ich Platz zum Atmen 😂

An sich ein sehr schönes Dirndl zu einem guten Preis. Verarbeitung ist gut und auch das Material fühlt sich wertig an. Leider, aufgrund dessen auch 2 Sterne abzug, recht klein geschnitten. Meines Erachtens nach 2 größer kleiner als angegeben. Wenn man es also kaufen möchte unbedingt 1-2 Nummern größer bestellen.

Material sehr gut sowie Passform

Das Dirndl ist super schön.Bei mir ist das Dirndl normal ausgefallen. Ich trage normal 44/46 und habe es in 46 bestellt. Passt perfekt.Leider ist nach dem ersten Mal tragen schon eine Naht aufgegangen. Deshalb Punkt Abzug.
