Manhattan ToyWhoozit Water Pat Mat and Toy

I wanted to trust the reviews and not get this for my four month old but I wanted to try it out for myself more. I've had it for about a week and it seems to be holding up just fine. The packaging was a little worn as if it had been opened before and that was annoying but I took it out and it seemed fine. The front of it still has wrinkles from being bunched up in the box but I assume they will go away with time since it is mailable plastic. The rim around it is a little sharp, not terribly so, like I don't think it will cut her as just make an indent when she puts her face on it. Still I put a burp cloth on the beginning part so she has somewhere to drool on when she is looking at it on her tummy. It's also awkward to fill up. You have to push down on this awkward piece of plastic inside the nozzle and it fill up through its little crack very slowly. Ok now for the positives: it doesn't have that toxic plastic smell even though it's made from that same kind of material pool floating things are made from. My daughter LOVES it. It hasn't leaked at all. It's a nice size, aka not huge. It's fairly cheap. Glad I went with it.

This is a fantastic toy. However, I discovered 2 major negatives with it: super difficult to fill with water & it got a leak after about 5 days. If these 2 things were fixed, it would be a 5+ star toy.

I like this little water mat. There was a review that mentioned sharp edges, I don't know what they are talking about. It's a tough, durable plastic but that's to be expected if you are putting water in it and setting it out for a baby who sits on it or bangs toys on it. It is not rough to the touch or abrasive to his skin. It's a cute little mat to let baby play with.UPDATE: My water mat did end up leaking after about a year. I got this because my sister has another water mat (EarlyYears Fill n Fun Water Mat) that my son really loved. He liked the other one better and it was larger which was nicer but overall he still enjoyed this one (thus the leak). If I was choosing just one I would get the other one but I didn't want him to have all the same toys at home that he has when my sister watches him while I work.

I got this package quickly and My grils loved it for about 2 weeks and then it started to leek from the seams so I had to throw it away. Fun while it lasted but did not last very long.

This product grew mold in it within a week. So, I threw it away. I figured that's what would happen, and I was correct. I don't know if I should have added a couple of drops of bleach. Additionally, it doesn't seem as though the water would've been easy to completely drain from inside of the mat.

Great small water mat to take to visits with friends or vacations. Very sturdy. Our 5 mo loved it, and still at 9 months will wack at it.

Bought for baby shower. Was well received

Unsere hatte leider nach kurzer Zeit an der Naht eine kleine Öffnung und hat das Wasser verloren. Daher nicht zu empfehlen.

Great tummy time toy. Hard to fill though. Not straight forward

super tapis d'activitée, joli, un peu petit a mon gout.bebe aime bien et ce tapis le motive a rester sur le ventre pour jouer.il est vrais que le remplissage pose souci la premiere fois. ( il faut bien degager l'arriere de la valve pour que l'eau puisse s'ecouler et presser cette valve afin qu'elle s'ouvre) mais quand on a compris le truc ca se passe tout seul!malgrés ces quelques petits defaut bebe(3mois) l'adore et je m'en sert tout les jours,il n'a jamais fuit. je ne regrette pas du tout mon achat!

I have to say this product was a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be but I probably should have guessed given the price! We haven't actually used it yet but it looks like a great little product and am looking forward to filling it with water and seeing my son's reaction, I also liked someone else's comment about the fact that it's probably nice and cool for the little ones in summer.
