Always a great addition to the kitchen knife collection, the fine serrated edge lasts for years and is the best bread and tomato cutter you can get, the other edge is good for carving meats etc and the points to pick anything off of the cutting board. I’ve had one for about 25 years and it still cuts bread well the second is 6 years old. Highly recommended though not the only knife you will need.

We already have one of these and its great, so bought a spare. It slices through home made bread with ease and I have found thin knives like this seem to work well with bread. It slices tomatoes and other fruit without them falling apart but not really used for chopping veg. Its sharp and seems to stay sharp. Great for slicing. Problems? They do seem to have changed the steel used as it seems to rust in places in a dishwasher. The little metal emblem tends to fall out. Otherwise for slicing this is great. We don't use it for chopping Otherwise its a great knife

These knives are my secret weapon in the kitchen that I first discovered back in the eighties when I bought my first one in a local supermarket. Since that initial purchase I have never been without one and when I recently opened my deli / coffee shop I wanted knives that could be useful for a number of tasks so bought several of these to kit out the shop. They are excellent for cutting up cooked and raw meat (even the tough cuts) and are a dream for cutting chunky fresh bread for toast. Not only that they can cut through cleanly a nice fresh cream sponge without crushing it or tearing it apart. I also find them handy for cutting thin slices off a cabbage when making coleslaw and thin slices off an iceberg lettuce as they are long enough to tackle the job. In any one day in my shop I would say I have six of these knives in constant use through the day and have yet to worry about one of them going blunt ( even my first one is still good ) so a good all round knife and real value for money when you consider how long and how much I have been using my first one.

Brilliant Bread knife. Had many years of good service from the Kitchen Devils Kitchen Knife so it was simple when it came to replacing it, buy another.

I bought this as I bought this exact knife 10 years ago and is finally showing it's age. However I'm blown away, it's sharp yes but it's immediately rusting! Check my photos compared with a 10+ year old version of it. Honestly appalling for the price.

I bought my first one of these many years ago when I lived in the UK. If it hadn’t fallen and melted the handle at the bottom of the dishwasher recently it would have lasted longer than it did. This is my go to knife for so many things - all day. Can’t live without it and so happy to have a new and much sharper replacement.

Tengo uno igual comprado en Inglaterra hace 15 años y sigue cortando como el primer día. En ese tiempo he probado muchos otros (de marcas conocidas, sin marca, chinos, etc.) pero ninguno igual. Es el mejor que conozco para cortar pan. La hoja parece endeble porque es muy fina y flexible, pero esa es la razón de su nuen hacer. Este es para una segunda casa. Completamente recomendable.

When I saw this knive I immediately bought it. I have had one of the knives for over 20 years. It is the only knive I know that slices home made bread perfectly as well as other food stuffs. .

Used as a gift. Was exactly the item being sought. Friend had been looking for a style knife his Grandfather had. Described it as having two different cutting surfaces and tines at the tip to pick up the sliced meat. Hit Amazon and lo and behold found just the thing. Reasonably priced, promptly received, was presented on Christmas morning and was in use that afternoon carving up the Christmas turkey. Delighted with the item.
