Good flavour - very drinkable
βοΈ As described and as advertised.βοΈ Adequately packaged and presented.βοΈ Good tamper evident before opening packaging as we had to rip/cut off the top.βοΈ Pleasant look and aroma in the tea leaves before adding the water.βοΈ Brews nicely producing a nice looking and smelling cup of green tea.βοΈ Pleasant taste and easy to drink - we like that strong enough for at least one hot water top up.βοΈ We drink for all round health benefits of green tea - but whilst we are unable to provide any meaningful quantitative assessment as to any health benefits ewe can confirm no noticeable adverse side effects such as digestive discomfort.βοΈVery drinkable green tea,

Lovely cup of tea
I've been drinking supermarket green tea in tea bags for years so I thought I'd give this loose leaf stuff a try as I was told it was better. However after having a couple of cups it honestly doesn't taste any different to me than the tea bags I buy at the store. None the less a nice cup of tea.

Tastes nice
This loose leaf green tea tastes nice.I used 1 teaspoon of loose leaf green tea, 300ml boiling water - cooled down to 65-75 degrees C and steeped for 2 minutes. This made a great cup of green tea.It has a long best before date 30.11.2025 - 13 months from date received.

Nice green tea
This is a pleasant green tea. It's less aromatic than some I have tried, producing an easy-to-drink and refreshing brew that has all the well-reported benefits of green tea. Loose leaf tea can seem expensive, but you can get a lot of drinks out of a small weight; in my experience it's more cost-effective than tea bags and, in the main, gives a higher quality drink. As one would expect, the larger pouches represent the best value for money, at under Β£5 per 100g. The leaves can take a second and third steeping, although I tend to add a small amount of fresh leaf to boost it. Still, that makes the leaves go further for their money.Do note, though, that this is a delicate drink. A builder's tea it is not. I tried it with a touch of oat milk, to see if it could stand up against it, but it could not. It's a tea to drink neat. For me, there are tastier green teas around, but that's down to opinion. It's a perfectly good product and well worth a try if you're a tea lover.

Delightful Green Tea with Rich Flavours
The Yunnan Lu Cha Loose Leaf Green Tea from Yunnan Province in China is a delightful find for green tea enthusiasts. Its distinctive curled, oblong leaves brew into a pleasantly aromatic and mild infusion. The robust and aromatic flavour profile, characterised by grassy, floral notes with slightly nutty undertones, sets it apart from other green teas. It's rich in antioxidants like EGCG, which contribute to its health benefits, including lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of heart disease. The low caffeine content makes it an ideal choice for sipping throughout the day, whether for casual enjoyment or more formal tea ceremonies. On the downside, the price of Β£6.45 for 100g may seem steep for frequent drinkers, making it a rather costly indulgence. However, the tea leaves can be brewed up to three times, which helps to offset the cost. The packaging is a basic resealable packet that preserves the tea's aroma and fragrance adequately, although transferring it to an airtight container is recommended to maintain its flavours. Overall, this tea offers a high-quality, authentic experience that is both refreshing and invigorating, making it a worthwhile addition to any tea connoisseur's collection.

Very mild - pleasant flavour
The suggested water temperature is 65-75 degrees - similar to yellow tea; I set my kettle to 75, which seemed to work. The leaves have a refreshing smell, and area reasonable size - there was no dust. I allowed the infusion to brew for 2-3 minutes, which produced a lightly-flavoured, slightly aromatic tea, but rather non-descript: pleasant, but I'm unlikely to get more when this is used up. as there are other green teas I prefer. I added nothing - but I always drink tea that way. It was nice to try a new blend, but this will never be a favourite.

Lovely green tea, but the packaging needs improving! π«
This is a 100g pack of Yunnan Lu Cha green tea. I'm a big tea drinker and I think that this tea tastes nice. πI boil the water to 80β°C and let the tea steep for 80 seconds. That's how I always make green teas.It is 100g and there is enough in the pack to get quite a few cuppas out of it. I drink it in the morning as it contains caffeine.Unfortunately it's in kraft paper packaging. I really don't like this type of packaging. It can easily rip. I've had to repackage it.Apart from the packaging, I recommend it. π«

Light and refreshing tea
This green tea is high quality, with no dust at the bottom of the resealable packet. The leaves are quite large and a teaspoon of the tea can be brewed a couple of times, making it more cost effective than it might seem at first.I drink green tea made with loose leaves every day, and have done for years. I found this one was not bitter, when prepared as suggested on the pack, brewing for 2-3 minutes using boiled water cooled to 70 degrees. The colour is a nice light green and it tastes fresh and clean.I really liked this tea, but the very slight down side is the price, although as this is a very good product it might be worth it for those wishing to treat themselves or who appreciate a good cup of green tea.
