These are a perfect fit for my new 3m Xtract. Already saved me replacement cost of sanders pad

These are not made (out-of-the-box) for my eight-hole Dewalt and Bosch Sanders. However, they are easily modified with a pair of tin snips (scissors wouldn't begin to work) by laying it over a sanding disc and using a silver permanent marker to outline the 8 holes; not a big deal for as often as you would need to modify one (I actually did all of mine at once) .The pad does what it is designed to do and, while I did need to modify them, they are well worth the purchase price and minor nuisance. The manufacturer should seriously consider making an eight-hole version for the substantially larger Dewal/Bosch market.

fits 3m Xtract sander perfectly. holes line up. seems a little high for what they are, cheap velcro pads, but i understand this brands commands a premium.

Worked really well for a while, then got to where it would no longer grip the pad in my sander. Used some spray adhesive on both and it sticks good. Will say that the thing is tough! Have not used but one so far on a LARGE kitchen project building cabinets, doors, drawers, and pullouts.

I use a Makita sander with Abranet disks. These pads hold the Abranet sanding disks much better than the original Makita pad of my sander. Also it grabs on to the original pad of my sander extremely well. So you can forget the disks flying off your sander. This is designed for Mirka sander though so the holes in it will not line up with the holes in your sander's pad but you can cut new holes in it easily.

I bought this interface pad because I use Abralon sanding disks, and they can wear out the hooks on the sander pad. But the holes do not sign up with the eight holes in the sander and makes dust collection problematic. Given the cost of these three interface pads is about the cost of a replacement pad for my sander, I am not sure about the value of these interface pads.

I love the Abranet system! It requires this extra pad protector, and the disks are more expensive than the paper Mirka disks I was buying before. But the disks last much longer, the sander is able to pick up more of the dust, and I am able to get a much smoother finish on the hard maple I first sanded with these. Before, I stopped at 320 grit because the pads became ineffective (clogged or the grit wore out, I'm not sure which) so fast that I didn't think finer grit was even worth trying. I bought the 35 piece variety pack of Abranet disks (which is why I bought the pads separately). Now I can sand up to 600 grit, and the finish is glassy smooth. I'm glad I got 5 of these pads because now I can share samples of the Abranet system with friends.

Muy buena calidad prolonga el tiempo de vida del pad. No me coincide con las perforaciones en dwalt pero en rigid excelente. Claro puedes siempre perforar dónde necesites
