L'OCCITANE Organic Pure Shea Butter Multipurpose Balm For Dry Skin

I love this L’Occitane all-over shea butter balm. It fits perfectly in my makeup pouch and is small enough it’s convenient to carry anywhere. The feel of it is smooth not greasy and helps not only heal cracked skin but cracked fingernails and cuticles that may have splits and breakage. Not a huge fragrance but smells clean and powdery and the consistency is smooth and non greasy. I love L’Occitane products so much because you feel rich for what you pay but your wallet and pocket book thanks you.

The best Shea Butter you will ever own is here... Run, don't walk! I've been using L’Occitane for years and I SWEAR by this butter. It's so soothing, creamy, smelling great on my skin. This is great for relieving my eczema or cracked skin and is gentle on my super sensitive skin.

This is one of the very few things that helps my dry skin. Yes it is expensive. It is also excellent stuff.

I stopped purchasing L’Occitane products a while ago because, although their scents are distinct, subtle, and beautiful, most of their products (foot cream, hand cream with anti-aging benefits, body lotion, body wash with infused oil, etc.) didn’t deeply nourish my skin. I don’t fault the products—it’s probably just a sign of me getting older. That said, I wasn’t very hopeful about this small shea butter balm, but it pleasantly surprised me! Its natural ingredients are gentle on my sensitive lips and provide excellent nourishment for my hair during colder months. It works effectively to keep everything hydrated, and I will definitely repurchase it in the future!

Great but very small. I didn’t realize I was having a tiny tin sent. I always received a large tin container. Will have to search for a larger container.

Effective for very dry spots. I also use it as a protection layer on mild irritations, like when I have a cold and blowing nonstop runny nose kind of peels off the skin. Also I use it on my nails and cuticles when they're rough. I love to carry it around in my purse! Great emergency cream.

What a rip off…

I used this product for years and loved it. It is quite wonderful. But now you can purchase very high quality shea butter (organic) for one third the cost of this. I still buy L'Occitane to carry in my purse. But I've come to prefer some of the less expensive brands of shea butter. They are easier to spread and you get a POUND of shea butter for maybe $16 - compared to 5.2 ounces of this. If money is not an issue for you, then this is the product for you. Shea butter is so wonderful for your skin and hair. I put it on my hair the night before I wash it - and it is softer than a baby's butt. You do have to let it soak in - takes about ten minutes. It works wonders on cuticles as well - you can stop getting hangnails if you massage it into your cuticles. It is a fabulous face cream - you can't buy anything better. I have extremely fussy skin and it seems I'm allergic to everything under the sun. Shea butter is perfect for me. I make face creams with shea butter as a base - but shea butter alone is just fine. Another great thing: You can put it on one night and it will protect your skin for a couple of days without reapplying. I'm elderly and should be a lot more wrinkled up than I am - and I give the credit to shea butter. Why buy products that "feature" shea butter - why not just use 100% shea butter?

Es muy buen producto, lo uso mucho para la resequedad que me sale por los cambios de clima, sobre todo con el frio. Es muy cómodo de llevar.
