Great piece of equipment for self-sufficient fishermen
Really looked forward to getting this piece of equipment and love it. Picked up a good crop of whole worms on first try out and now improving my technique.

Gave up the ghost after a dozen outings
Purchased an Alvey thinking it was better than the cheaper alternatives from another certain on line source. However, after a dozen or so uses the Alvey would just give up. Despite me stripping down, trying numerous new neoprene washers it would work for a few pumps and then give up again. The washers were replaced and installed correctly and no amount of trying different pressure settings would make a differenceReseller not willing to help, one down to experience

Learning curve required
Thought that it would be easy to get fishing bait once I had this, but not as easy as I thought, still working on the skill. They could do with putting in some instructions, diagrams.Will carry on using it and learn from other users on the beach.
