The Real Deal
I moved into a newly renovated apt, from ceiling to floor windows to appliances fresh and new. The only problem was spots and strips of adhesive glue used to install the hardwood floor. Every room had some section with that glue, nothing seemed to work, multiple products. I was about to contact management if this item did not work. Just a light mist and 30 seconds and all of the patches wiped right off, without harming the new floor. This product is awsome, a little goes a long way.

Works as advertised!
I needed to remove old construction adhesive from wood floor pieces so that I could glue them down again. The glue was about 15 years old and hard as a rock. This product was amazing! It started softening the top layer within minutes of application. I scraped off the top layer and then sprayed again and left it overnight. When I went to remove the glue the next day it had been turned in to putty and simply slide off the old wood. Since then I have used it to clean a very dirty wire shelf and a window with dried, gunky window clings. It worked with in seconds on both of these items and made cleaning them a breeze. I have tried several other products with no success so I was really pleased.I really like that this is made from natural ingredients. There is still a strong odor but it felt safe to use around my daughter and pets and safe to use in a confined space. I would highly recommend this product!!

Don't expect to spray and wipe
Your need some elbow grease to assist with this stuff. To me this is like that Goo Gone product. I purchased this to specifically remove caulk in my bathroom shower, but I have used it on some laundry detergent spills that have dried as.For me I used a flat non flexible plastic putty knife, brush with hard bristle, and rags. Several applications, scraping, brushing and wiping did the job.Area gets real slick after use so if you use this on a tile or linoleum floors, don't run on it with socks. I almost took a spill.Good luck

I can't believe it worked!!
I have been trying to get this carpet glue mess off of my wood floors for years. This stuff did the trick. It was easy to use. Sprayed it on, let it sit for about 10 mins, used a plastic blade scrapper, and then washed it up with warm water and dish soap. The floor looks amazing! The scent was a tad stronger then if like, but wasn't unbearable.

Mild yet hard working
I purchased this to clean my Brother Scan N Cut crafting mat. I sprayed the mat liberally with De-Solv-it and then used a flat edge (putty knife) to scrape off the adhesive residue. It worked beautifully. Since then I have used it in various applications. I have used the the market leading brand before, and I found myself fighting with it, requiring more elbow grease to remove something. And it felt more harsh than this De-Solv-it. I highly recommend this product.

Really not all that great - I thought it'd work better
I thought this would perform much better than it did.Several Applications necessaryIt had to sit for close to 3 hoursEven after sitting for hours the Caulk was a bear to remove - had to then re-apply againWorst part is after I finally got old caulk off - had to scrub this junk with Isopropyl Alcohol to get it off to be able to apply new caulkStay Aways

Dissolves carpet tape
I bought the regular De-Solv-It but this stuff worked better for our use. We put carpet tape under a carpet mat (against a commercial type carpet) to keep it in place. Unfortunately, the carpet tape dissolved. It took us about two weeks to get the carpet tape residue off the hall carpet, but it finally worked. Sprayed it on a cloth and applied to carpet, then used a small scrub brush, and then used our Hoover Power Scrub carpet cleaner to inject water and shampoo and extracted the liquid. It took 3 or 4 tries to get everything off but it finally worked.
