Nice thick stainless steel construction makes this perfect for sauces. Nice even heating. And the spout construction is also great for pouring the sauce as a topping to main dishes. The glass and stainless steel strainer lid makes this super for steaming veggies, too. A great value. Great product design and quality construction.

I was looking for something to replace an ancient 1-quart pan (the kind with the copper bottom) that I mostly made noodles in, and came across this one. After reading many many reviews (God bless everyone who posts these) I bought it. It's first rate--I love the vented lid, the pour spouts and the straining lid. You can make pasta in this and drain it with ease. Plus it's stainless with an aluminum core in the bottom and heats beautifully. Superior cooking pot. We bought this one to replace our 22yo original which someone (ahem) forgot on the stove which was still on. So grateful they still make it!The new lid with the drain spouts is a welcome addition.

I drink many cups of tea throughout the day, and my glass teapot has a minimum amount of water it can use, so I had to watch it very carefully, and then always had water left over. (And had ruined at least one glass teapot that way already) I have 3 other Krona pots that I love, so when I saw this small one I thought it might be exactly what I need-and I was right! It's handy to use for heating many things in smaller amounts, but boiling tea water is the best! It boils almost instantly, pours easily without sputtering, and wipes dry in an instant-and looks cute as can be on my vintage stove. I know these Krona pots are a wise investment, and this little beauty is just as useful and pretty as I hoped it would be.

I've been switching out my cookware to Stainless Steal and Cast Iron as my non-stick set ages. Thanks to the detailed reviews I purchased this pot and couldn't be happier. I cook multiple times a day and reach for this pot for everything from veggies to grains to oatmeal. I plan to purchase one for my daughter in college because it is a good size for a single person or couple. Basically a trade off for the pouring lip and straining lid. It works just fine for boiling items but if you have a specific need for a very tight seal this might not be your best option. For general cooking it is not a disadvantage and I would definitely recommend this pot.

I either make tea or coffee (in my coffee press) so I boil water every day & tend to leave the pot on the stove, so I was looking for something nice to look at. This is a beautiful/modern little pot. Perfect size and the spout is super convenient for pouring hot liquids without spilling...yay! The handle is quite comfortable for my small hands (read some negative reviews on that). And yes, this pot works fine for glass top stoves.

Good quality, lid functions well as a drain, handle stays cool, and it looks very nice hanging in my kitchen.Spouts pour very smoothly as well.This is a nice smalled sauce pan and I recommend it to anyone in the market for a not super expensive Stainless Steel sauce pan.

This pan is just the right size for a package of frozen or canned vegetables. It is easy to strain the water while holding the lid secure. The handle is a little too wide for my hand to grasp comfortably. However, the handle design is perfect when using an oven mitt to pick up a hot pan.

Very good quality, excellent looking & good even heat transfer for cooking!
