I recently got a smaller set like this from another seller for simple storage and since I liked it so much I went on a search for a much bigger set. Both are good but I have to admit I am quite a bit more satisfied with this one. These are one of the items in my order history that I will keep in mind for if I ever need more storage in my future.PROS: -really simple and easy to PUT TOGETHER and to TEAR DOWN! It was similar to an adult kinects kit that is more functional. -light weight -modified it how I wanted it. instead of one large one I divided it up to how I needed. didn't even need to use all of it yet. -the bottom is wire mesh instead of the same plastic as the sides. This makes it sturdier so you can put slightly heavier objects compared to other shelves like this. -has optional cute doors you can put multiple ways. -deliver quickly, package in great condition, and nothing broken! -I personally love the simple look -good priceCONS -this is more to advise personal preference for other buyers. This shelf is not an like an Ikea/Target wooden-like shelf or a heavy duty wire shelf so I would advise that it is not made for tons of heavy items (mostly if you are stacking them up like the customer pictures.) But I think if you distribute the weight wisely you can store quite a bit of different things with varying weights!

These are great storage cubbies, for all the reasons that other reviewers have said. The best piece of advice I can give is - get more of the little white zip ties! They only give you about a dozen of them. Buy another pack, and put one at every single junction/connection on this thing (except the ones were the doors hook in - don't catch the posts of the doors in a zip tie) and really torque down on them! These connections WILL pull apart, even if you make sure to click them all the way in while building. A little bit of movement can make them pop back out. Put those zip ties on tight tight tight, and it should hold it together well. I did also put on the little white clips they give you, and I recommend that for added hold, but they will also pop off with minimal moving or twisting. Zip ties are the way to go! I'm also picking up plastic kitchen placemats when I find them cheap, and you can cut them to fit in the cubbies so things don't fall thru the wire grid. I like that they gave us the wire pieces to add to the stability, but the grid is pretty big and things can fall thru.

It was not easy to assemble, however I am partially disabled. The baby rubber mallet that it came with was put to good use. I ended up buying more sm zip ties to secure all of the connections because some places were easily coming out of joint. The cubes are a good size and once everything was zipped, sturdy. The doors won't close properly if the joints are not aligned. Use the zip ties :)Over all I'm happy with it. It looks nice👌

Previously I had two wardrobe style dressers, one for the hubby & I and the other for the little one, and unfortunately I had unwelcome critters enter both dressers. Both were taking up so much space (as the three of us crowd into one room at my in-laws) and I saw this great alternative that saves space and keeps things organized! The hubby & little one have their own designated cubbies as do my own. I did order multiple items as well, but this arrived in four days!It was simple enough to put together, with simple but detailed instructions. As previous customers mentioned, it is important to listen for the “click” to ensure stability.The only cons I’d say is it does come with zip ties. As ghetto as it may seem, it does help to ensure that it won’t fall apart anywhere any time soon. The con here is that I feel it didn’t come with enough zip ties! The other con is the doors don’t always line up perfectly. Some doors you may age to use a little more force to close and others may open two doors at one time.Overall I’d say this is a great product and if I did need another one, I’d definitely order from this company again.

I ordered this storage unit because the IKEA storage I wanted was out of stock, and I did not want to wait to get organized. This arrived quickly. The box it arrived in was barely large enough to hold the pieces and someone left his or her glove in the box. It was fairly easy to assemble and came with good instructions and a mallet hammer which was helpful. I am unfortunately missing some pieces and unable to configure the unit as 16 cubes as shown but I have contacted the seller and anticipate they will send me the rest of the parts. I was missing some connectors and doors. Doors are not a big deal as I don’t plan to use them on every cube. I selected this unit because the size of 14 x 14 would allow me to fit my scrapbooks and other 12x12 items. Once assembled, the configuration of the connector actually takes up about half an inch on the corners of the cube. So you can get a 12 x 12 item in the cube but not with the same amount of space around it as expected from the description. It seems pretty sturdy. The photo shows that it holds 30 lbs per cube but now that I have the unit, I am wondering if that is only for the black grid sections. The bottom level of the unit does not have the black grid sections on the bottom of the cube, so it may not hold that much in those cubes even though the picture clearly says each cube can hold 30 lbs. The description says each cube is designed with “strengthen steel panel at the bottom of the cube” but they did not send steel panels for the bottom row. It is also not configured to have the black grid section on the top of the unit so you may not be able to place anything heavy on top either. I am concerned that over time pulling items in and out in the white plastic may scratch this material. Time will tell if I will regret not waiting for the IKEA unit to be available. It does say there is a two year warranty so if I have a problem I hope the warranty will cover it.
