Fits perfectly on my Remington 870 shotgun you do have to persuade it so the pins will line up the holes on the actual mount itself, but by doing it that way it keeps it nice and snug and hopefully it should keep zero very well I have not tested it out yet with a red dot. I do appreciate that you can still use the bead sight.

Solid product! Easy to install

Defective product, didn't come in spec AT ALL. The holes aligned with the rear pins, but no where near close to the front pins. I tried to make it work by sanding some material, light hammering, but nothing worked at all. Very horrible piece of equipment you wouldn't want to put on something you care about. Buy literally anything else. This WILL not work with your 870.

Read another review about a guy that said he could get the rear pin holes to line up but the front ones were way off and to not buy it because it will not fit an 870. I had the same problem but decided I wouldn't be defeated. I "opened up" the interior of the mount with a Dremel so it could sit lower on the receiver. It works flawlessly now and you can't even tell that I did surgery on it. Overall, this is a great mount and well worth the money.

This is a good option for mounting an optic on a Remington 870 shotgun. It also has the benefit of a 6 round shell holder on the left side of the receiver. Very convenient. Construction is high-quality aluminum. Once mounted, this rail fits very snugly with no detectable wiggle or flex. Note that you may need to sand down the replacement threaded receiver pins to remove the paint/powdercoat in order for them to fit into the holes in the receiver plate properly. I also beveled the edge of the pins so they would guide into the holes more easily. All of this was necessary in my case to avoid forcing the pins into the holes and possibly damaging the receiver.

This was a great purchase for me. I attached an optic to my shotgun. The saddle was perfect too. Ready shells accessible perfect when shooting.

Works perfectly. If you want to put an optic on your Remington 870 without having to go to a gunsmith to drill slots install a Picatinny rail, this is the way to go. Also, having a static attachment for shells on the side is nice. Well worth the purchase.

Gave this product a shot.. since it said it was for my specific gun, 870 tac-14... and even goes on to say, fits 12ga AND 20ga.. Gave it a rating of 2 cuz the rail fit.. but negative review just do to poor buisness n ethics. With that said. I got it , and it fits like a glove. No issues with fitment at all, looks awesome.. but.. went to put some shells in the holder.. and mine is a 20ga for home defense.. and shells fells right through. Now I'm not one to leave bad reviews, I usually just return an item.. but I gave the company the benefit of a doubt.. contacted them with my issue in hopes I could just send them the shell holder that's obviously for 12ga and they would send me the 20ga holder instead... but all they said was "unfortunately it's only for 12ga".. and then my response was.. thats unfortunate, but why would you advertise it's for both the 12ga and the 20ga if it only holds 12ga shells .. and no response.. so.. ill figure out some way to make it work maybe with paracord or something so that the smaller shells will fit without falling out.... but for future buyers of this product just remember.. the company won't help you and they play with their words on their products to make the sale..
