Good customer service
I had an issue with the initial LCD screen. It was too bright on installation. I wrote to the vendor and they provided a prompt response and a perfect replacement. Very happy overall.

An impressively complete LCD screen kit
If you have an old IPad with dead pixels or lines, this is for you. Note that this is just the LCD screen which sits under the top glass and does not include the glass itself. If your glass is shattered and/or your finger no longer tracks on the screen, you'll need additional parts like a front glass and a digitizer.I've bought a number of these kits and I appreciate when they're as complete as this one; in addition to the digitizer unit itself, there are cleaning pads, protective gloves (more to protect the electronics than you), a suction cup to remove the front glass, torx screwdrivers and plenty of plastic guitar pick-like pieces to help you separate the glass. There's even some glue to use to re-secure all the pieces that you unstick from the case. There's an instruction manual, but as with all of these repair jobs I suggest going to YouTube and watching a few videos until there's one that is of the difficulty level and clarity that you need. Some of the parts are extremely delicate, so take if very slow.I appreciated the care with which this was packaged to protect the delicate screen. In my case, the screen lit up beautifully without any dead zones or dead pixels. I did see some fingerprints on the unit, so I'm not sure if this was really a new unit or one pulled from another device. But the most important thing is that it worked. One thing I would suggest is to shop around local repair shops. In my case, I found that a local shop replaced LCDs for my model of iPad costs $80, which as of this writing is only $10 more than this part costs. If you have an option like that, I'd suggest going with that. On the other hand, if your only option is Apple's "Geniuses" who might charge up to the price of a new iPad for a screen repair, this is a great option as long as you're comfortable with DIY electronics projects.

Replace damaged iPad LCD screen (not glass)
This kit has everything you need to replace the 9.7" LCD screen on your iPad 5th or 6th Generation. The screen is very well packed with thick foam to protect it during transit. An instructions manual is also included. Doing this repair yourself will save you about $50 over what a local repair shop would charge for it.I got this kit to replace the cracked screen on my 6th Generation iPad. Reading the instructions manual, the process seemed mostly easy especially with the included tools. The one tricky part is the battery contacts, which can be easily damaged, resulting in irreversible problem. So you have to be careful with it to avoid damaging the contacts, but also you need to make sure that it clicks when installed, otherwise the screen image or colors will be negatively affected. While the steps are specified in the accompanying instructions, we found it more useful to watch online videos on the glass replacement process. The videos also had tips like putting clear tape on the cracked iPad glass as we discovered this is going to shatter to small pieces when you remove it!While preparing to do this repair, I discovered that the LCD screen on my iPad is actually fine! The problem was with the touch glass that goes on top of the screen! here is another kit on Amazon for changing the glass on the iPad, and this is fairly cheap. Most likely you will need to change the glass too if you have a crack or break in the front side of the iPad, so keep this in mind. While removing the original glass to replace it, we messed up the contacts with the LCD screen under it, so we ended up using this replacement KCD screen anyway! The screen replacement was successful but with a few glitches:1) The original glass shattered badly when it was removed. Even though we taped it to keep it from making a big mess, it still created a mess.2) The glue included in the kit wasn’t great! One of the edges of the screen did not seal creating a small gap.3) The home button on the replacement touch glass is a regular click button and does not have a fingerprint reader like the original. The online videos recommend that you salvage the original button to use with the replacement glass. Unfortunately we damaged the contacts of this button when we tried to salvage it, so we went with the new button, thus losing the fingerprint identification feature on the iPad.4) We ended up with a spec of glue on the internal LCD with no way to remove it.In short, if I have to do this again, I would take the iPad to a professional shop as this job was fairly complicated and messy, and the results were not perfect as we lost the fingerprints identification feature and the screen did not seal perfectly. If on the other hand you have done this work before and know what you are doing, then this kit will save you some money.

Perfect replacement for iPad 6.
I got this for my iPad that recently had the screen break. I was somewhat nervous about doing the repair myself, but after watching a few online videos for my specific iPad, I decided to give it a shot. That, and since I don’t live in a major metropolitan city, it would cost ~ $150+ to get it done by a shop. So, with my newfound knowledge and approximately $120 in my pocket, I went for it. It was surprisingly easy! I’m not necessarily saying it’s easy in general, but as this comes with the needed tools (Minus heat source), I didn’t find it terribly tricky. Just watch some videos on your specific iPad, be careful when taking it apart, then watch the cables on the bottom right so you don’t accidentally crimp them, and you should be good. Last, and most importantly, DON’T RUSH!!!

Great fit. Visually and functionally, I can not tell a difference from the original screen. Watch plenty of YouTube videos to ease the installation.
