Great idea, needs anchor support
They should sell this with an anchor support you could attach to a stud in the wall. It falls over when loaded with one or two let alone when it's full of umbrellas. If you are willing to figure out your own way to attach it to the wall or anchor it down, it's a great stand.

Minimal use
I bought this to fit compactly behind an open door. It does just that perfectly well. It’s a substantial weight, unobtrusive and smart looking. However... rubber cane tips have trouble being inserted and canes or tall umbrellas are a bit unwieldy for the height of the stand and tend to pull it over since roughly 70% of the weight is at the top. This will also not fit inverted or compact umbrella widths easily. I’ll be looking for a more substantial and generous holder in the future. This one requires too much precision and care to place or remove a cane or umbrella without knocking it over.

It disappears.
When I opened the box I was shocked at how small this umbrella holder is, and skeptical that it would work well because of that. But it turns out to be great. Because it's so small, it's visually unobtrusive and narrow enough to hold our umbrellas in a tiny sliver of space. And it's heavy enough to keep them standing up despite the fact that the umbrellas are far taller than the stand itself. Some others have mentioned trouble with their umbrellas being too thick to fit in the compartments, but I've had no problems with any of ours (in fact, in one section I have two umbrellas). I wonder if those who've had problems are trying to use it for the type of umbrellas that fold up to fit in a briefcase or purse. Those tend to be a good bid thicker than the non-folding umbrellas I have in it (which I think is what the stand is designed for).

Great for thin umbrellas
Bought this for use at the resort I work at. We have umbrellas for guest use which are thin - this holds them perfectly, and doesn't take up much space. However, some guests bring their own umbrellas, and this stand won't hold everything. If you look at the base in the picture, those "pits" hold the tops of the umbrella. This means the umbrella needs the pointy bit on top (called a Ferrule, according to Wikipedia - who knew?!) to stand up correctly. If that's your umbrellas, this stand will work well. It does not tip over, either.

Efficient and space-saving!
I live in a small studio apartment and am very particular about the items I buy that I know I'll be looking at all the time. This umbrella stand made great sense to me; it's got a TINY footprint and holds umbrellas just fine. I have a full-sized umbrella - no complaints on how it works for me. I can see if you had a small, compact umbrella, this probably wouldn't work well, but I personally don't like those type umbrellas. It's made of cast iron so it's not tipping over, that is for sure!

Not just for umbrellas!
I love this stand! It is weighted with cast iron so it doesn’t tip over as I use it to place all of my cat’s wand toys in. It keeps things tidy and organized, instead of various wands all over the floor. And the real bonus is, the wands are standing up, stick side down into the slots so the ribbons, feathers and other dangling ‘toy’ portions of the wands are in a position where my cats can play with the dangling bits on their own, as well, without knocking over the stand. High quality item, would highly recommend.

Tips Over Too Easily
I like the concept, and it is indeed heavy and the holes fit umbrellas, but we find this tips over way too much - not just when inserting the umbrellas and taking them out, but just from passing traffic. If the idea is to both keep them organized and handy while being just out of the way, this isn't solving any of our umbrella problems.I don't think it's the weight so much as the ratio of the height of the upper element to the lower one; a wider base would probably help this. We'll use it for now because it's too late to return it but if I had to do it again I'd get a traditional bucket-style umbrella stand.

Not suitable for what I wanted
I purchased this to use as a stand for my walking canes. The problem is with the bottom slots which are not large enough to accommodate the rubber cane tips. Other than that it is a fine product.

Nice but very small
This is a good idea but the item is very small and only suitable for small light weight umbrellas otherwise it tips over

Very useful and neat looking
I almost didn’t buy this, as going by the measurements it seemed ridiculously small. So pleased I decided to give it a go. Providing it is placed alongside a wall so the umbrellas can be tilted towards, it works perfectly. Very neat looking. Seller, however, does need to amend its inches and cms sizing on the listing as they don’t match up.

Strong and concealed.
Im happy with it. Had a small space in my closet and was looking for something that would fit between my wall and shoe cabinet. So perfect and it holds up really well for oversized jumbo umbrella.

Already rusted.
Not even a month and is rusted already.Too bad they didn’t think about water and metal being irreparably together.
