This is now my second review, as Amazon censored my review and said it "didn't meet guidelines," yet they won't say why. (7 out of 10 reviews they do this). I always give my honest review and follow guidelines, but Amazon continually blocks honest reviews, and this AI program they are using is not picking up honest reviews but rather removing them. This is my second attempt since they removed my whole review rather then let you just "edit". So, let me try this once more.I purchased this as a gift for my techy husband, who works on computers all day and has issues with arthritis. He also works evenings currently as a mechanic.. He frequently has sore hands. He tends to struggle a bit with inflammation and RA. The machine itself isn't noisy when in use but has a slight humming sound. It's easy to use and move around. His favorite feature is the heat function. He compares it to a heat pack for the hand. It's not hot to the point of burning but comforting and noticeable which provides a subtle relief. The air cuff/compression feature alternates or can be set to a steady squeeze. (There's 6 various settings). He found the kneading function to be his least favorite of them. While it works, one direction towards the bottom palm of his hand was a little less comfortable compared to it only going one direction. That's a personal preference obviously, and he still uses it but less than his preferred settings.He has larger hands (large size gloves) and still had enough room to move his hands side to side if he needs too. So, it should work well for various hand sizes. The cuff portion to hold the wrist has a nice, firm hold. The only portion he mentioned occasionally being a little uncomfortable was the thumb area which gets a little tight when the internal compression is on, but it's not unbearable and was a matter of changing position and time to get used to it at first. He uses it several times a week, depending on how bad his hands are bothering him. (On average 3 times a week for about 13-minute sessions per hand.) Most of his sessions are done after work. He found that it provided enough relief that he didn't really notice his hands bothering him again until sometime the next day. The machine can easily be moved around and doesn't take up much space. I was honestly worried that he wouldn't like this much, use it or it may not work as well as the expectations I had for the machine. But, the compression combined with the heat seems to be helping with reducing some of his inflammation and seems to be helping with some pain relief. He actually loved this gift.Overall, we are happy with the purchase. I haven't tried it myself yet. My hands are smaller (more less kid sized) so I'm going to need to see how well it works for someone with smaller hands and report back about that. My only real worry would making sure positioning is correct for various-sized hands. I do leg compression sleeves, and size wise it makes a difference for comfort and getting optimal results when compression is used. With that said the machine seems like most hands will have relief, and it's a matter of finding which setting works best for where your pain/inflammation is bothering you most. I know it's helped my husband have some relief since he's been using it regularly.

So not only does my husband think he’s iron man walking around with this bad boy BUT it helps him so much and he’s become obsessed. He comes home from work and uses it immediately on repeat for a good hour. He uses it right after dinner and right before he goes to sleep. Works like a gem, fits his hands (big knuckles) comfortably and has plenty of options. I would buy this over and over again. He said it’s his favorite gift thus far. Highly recommend!

I couldn't be more satisfied with this hand massager. I recently had surgery for trigger finger and the hand massager has aided with my recovery tremendously. I use the hand massager multiple times daily. This massager is easy to use and you can press the different function buttons to find what works best for your needs. I really like the heat and palm kneading modes. This has helped with breaking up scar tissue at the incision site. I recommend this product for anyone in need of a great hand massage.

When I purchased this hand massager I did not know what to expect. Not only did it meet my expectations, it exceeded them. I am an avid bowler and was having issues with my wrist. this hand massager is really great! i do lot of heavy lifting and end of the day all my fingers and hand are really sore and stiff that it even is hard to make a fist. i saw this hand massager saw good reviews and got one the next day. i am really glad that i got this! this made my hands so relaxed and flexible, now i use it every day after work! it's a great product!

Maybe for carpal tunnel but not any good for arthritis in hands. Lil disappointed.

This is an awesome hand massager. It works for both hands & the heat function is a great addition! It also has a spinning palm function that helps in the thumb area. It can compress pretty well but the intensity levels can be adjusted. I recommend!
