This play food set is a hit with the kids, It’s well-made, durable, and perfect for encouraging imaginative play. The take-apart pieces are easy to reassemble, making it great for young children. The set is reasonably priced for the amount of fun it provides.

The food set looks bright and fun but doesn’t feel as good as it looks. The plastic is thin, mostly hard and the underside edges are stiff to grip rather than a softer finish for small hands. I was expecting the food to have a bit of ‘squish’ to it – not silicone squishy but not as hard as this stuff is. There are plenty of items to play with and it includes all the food pieces, the two cups, one set of cutlery, ketchup and the tray. I’m sure kids could have many hours of fun with the set, but it does seem somewhat overpriced if you shop around – currently £8.99. One of the ad pictures states (as of Nov 2024) ‘highest quality for your kids’ and I don’t think this is the case. A few of the pieces have burrs left on them, particularly the cutlery – one of them was quite sharp and I would file it off before giving to a child.

Play food is great for teaching kids all sorts of imaginative games and I thought this burger, fries etc would be a great addition. Some of the ratios are abit out but it is only a representation of the items. The quality is great and I love the way it fits together by pegs and holes. It comes complete with cutlery and a tray. Kids will love playing with this and will have hours of fun pretending to work in their favourite burger bar.

For the price this is a great food play set. The quality is pretty good, especially the bread items and the fillings which peg together. There are some ratio issues - like the chips being bigger than the cups - but that would be nit picking as there are hours of imaginative play to be had with this toy which after all costs less than a trip to a real fast food joint. Improves dexterity, imagination and life skills. Super to get a tray and ketchup too - my granddaughter loves it.

The play food comes really attractively packaged on a platter or small tray just like in a fast food restaurant. There are chunky plastic single chips and a sleeve to put them in, a ketchup bottle, cutlery, 2 drink cups with straws, a hot dog and then a burger and baguette that have slaad and meat layers that can be taken apart and rebuilt with pieces that fit on top of one another that add an extra layer of fun and play value. The set is better quality than I expected, larger and more robust.

Both our little grandsons love their playfood and pretend kitchen and this was their first takeaway style food set to add to their collection and they absolutely love it! It's incredibly good value for everything you get in here and its all very decent sizes too and good quality/well made to survive lots of play.They love making the food and building each item before serving them so tis a lot of fun for them and amazing value so would recommend fully as really happy with it.
