The tool arrived safely, and it comes nicely packed inside a heavy-duty Bosch carry case with secure latches.As the tool is Bosch and part of their Professional range this drill is made to the highest quality, and it seems very well put together and durable. Its heavy at around 12kg but this is normal for a tool of this calibre. This model has been out for years now so its more than tried and tested and seems to have a good reputation.What an absolute beast of a machine this is, I have a friend who needed a concrete riverbank demolished so I took this tool with me as it was the perfect chance to give it a good go. We hooked it up to a 3kVA 100V portable transformer and we had demolished the whole bank by the end of the day. It’s very comfortable to hold and as soon as you place the demolition tip against the concrete and turn it on it just starts breaking it down into chunks with ease. It rarely bogs down and seems like the 13 Joules of impact energy it provides is more than enough power to take on most demolition jobs.Its quite loud in operation as you would expect so I definitely wear ear defenders when using it but its no where near as loud as a still saw I used not long ago to cut some concrete slabs with. The vibration control system works very well and does an excellent job of dampening the vibrations which help it to achieve a low HAV level and allow you to use it for extended periods of time.The drill takes SDS Max drill bits and features a built-in service light which illuminates 8 hours before it needs a service. The front handle is adjustable, and you can attach an optional GDEMAX dust extractor to the end of the drill to help keep the air in your work environment clean.Overall, this is a well-established, high quality, and powerful demolition hammer that provides a lot of value for money when compared to even higher calibre tools. We have a lot of Bosch branded tools and equipment in our home and they always seem to work well and last for a long time so I’m more than happy to recommend this item and I feel its worth the full five stars, buy with total confidence!

I ordered this hammer drill for my husband as we were refurbishing our garden and he wanted to break some concrete. This Bosch arrived in a big toolbox and the drill was packed nicely inside. It is relatively heavy about 12 kg but my husband said it was normal. The drill is very powerful and can break the concrete easily after being assembled. Be sure to wear safety glasses when working! Also you need to have 110v powder to use this. It does the job very professional so it is in the high range price but reasonable.
