I ordered two for the price of one about eight years ago, and have had some problems with them (i.e. my microwave blew when I plugged one into the same socket). So...now I know not to do that. Also...some of them I've had have been less powerful or last a shorter period of time. But all in all...it's worth it to me to be insect free. I've never had a problem with roaches or mice (knock on wood), but the minute I see a few spiders...I know I should replace my Riddex. Didn't work there and ended up having mice in the cellar for the first time! It appears there are more of these critters than when I plugged them in. They are not bothered at all by the digital pulse technology but instead have invited their friends in to join the party. I bought because I didn’t want roach baits around the house that might harm my pets or me. Plan A is a bust.
