No issues after a couple years of use
I've never had to think about it or adjust anything about the how I play it which is the best possible outcome, works flawlessly. And for the price it makes it even more attractive. The only thing is that it you're using it with an alesis strike then the bell and edge is switched so you have to set your edge sounds to the bell and the bell sounds to the edge but that's no big deal.

Almost as good as Roland Cymbals!
I bought four Lemon cymbals about a month ago. One 18' ride, two 15" crash/rides and a 9" splash. I did a lot of research and saw a lot of very good reviews. I can verify that these are just as good as my Roland CY -15R and CY-14 cymbals. The rubber is a bit harder, and they are a bit thicker. Because of this they are a bit louder than the Roland cymbals. The triggering on the Lemon cymbals is just as good as the Roland's. You can't beat these cymbals for the money. Time will tell how durable they are, but if they last even 5 years they will be well worth the money!UpdateI have had these cymbals for two months now and still believe they are a great value for the money. I recently bought a Roland TD-50X drum module with the digital hi hat, ride and snare. The digital ride is amazing and much better than the Lemon, but it cost nearly 4 times more. The only issue I have with the Lemon ride is the bell is small and it has a hot spot right in the center of the bell, straight down from the logo. I turned the ride a bit to the left to move the hot spot to the right and away from where I am hitting the bell. Basically, the Lemon logo sits left of center as I tend to hit the left side of the bell. If you hit the right side of the bell then reverse the logo to the right and that should help with the hot spot. I moved the 18" Lemon to the left side of my kit and use it as a two zone crash/ride. The Lemon cymbals are a bit hotter (more sensitive) than the Roland's so I have turned the sensitivity down in my module. Great cymbals for the money and they blend well with the Roland cymbals!

A cymbal that actually works out of the box with Roland e-drums for half the price
I was looking for a new ride to replace my BT-1 because I do not enjoy the way it works, and neither does a CY-8 it's just not the same feeling. At first I was a little skeptical about this one because of how much cheaper it is compared to a 3-zone cymbal from Roland, but since the price is unbeatable, and after watching some reviews I actually ordered one. I gotta say I am pretty satisfied, and kind of impressed with this cymbal. The quality is great, and the trigger works out of the box with my Roland TD-17. One thing I do not like is the bell tho. I would prefer it to be a little smaller or reduce the amount of rubber, so that you can get the sound of a real bell because it seems like the trigger sounds too soft at times. You have to hit it hard for it to trigger properly.

As good as a Roland cy13r
My Roland ride was not responding anymore. Just the ride was working, sometimes the crash, never the bell or stroke. I did the internet trick to try to save it but nothing. By the way, in the end, it is just 2 plastic disks, some screws and 2 poor connectors with sensors, come on Roland! It is a 10 piece out of the factory that you resell 300?! And it dies?! Anyway, the lemon respond and sound the same, a little less responsive maybe, thicker and louder but who cares when the price is okay.

Works Great on Roland TD-6V
Bought this to finally add a proper ride to my Roland kit. Works exactly as advertised, and build quality on mine seems great.Yes - it’s a little noisier than my Roland cymbals - but only on the bell, and even there it’s not much difference.Mine came configured as a ride only (using as 2-zone, sounded bell only no matter where I struck), so I did the internal cable swap and it came up perfect 2-zone, choke works flawlessly. Just look for ‘lemon cymbal cable swap’ on YouTube- it’s very simple and easy. Will update after breaking it in for a few months, or if it experiences any anomalies before then, but I’m seriously eyeing one of their splashes next!Would I recommend? Yes - can’t go wrong for this price and build quality.Mine came shipped with plenty of padding.

Excellent Quality & Performance for the Price
Love how this cymbal feels, and really like that it’s larger than what most eKits provide for their ride cymbal. The price is right for how responsive it is!This cymbal can be setup as a 2 zone crash, or 3 zone ride. By unscrewing the plate covering the 3/4” jacks, you can simply move the pop out connector from one jack to the other to adjust this.Other than that, this cymbal was an excellent budget replacement for my Alesis ride cymbal on my Strike Pro SE kit.

Functional cymbals with horrible feel and in-room noise
I purchased the 15" Crash/Ride after being impressed with a 15" China cymbal from Lemon. But while the China is a very nice and playable cymbal, I found the Crash/Ride to be very cheap feeling, harsh to strike and with at least double the in-room sound of a Roland cymbal. I'm shocked by all of these glowing reviews. Yes, they look impressive and they do trigger accurately, but they feel like you're hitting an unpadded trash can lid and are so much louder than Roland cymbals. The reason I like the China is that, due to it's shape and where you strike, they were forced to make the rubber thick along the edges, so the striking surface is well padded and because of that, the volume is reduced. These crash/ride variants seem to be thinly covered plastic shells all over the place and the edges aren't thick enough to mask that fact. The rubber is also less dense so more of that hard plastic feel from the underlying structure comes through.I could see the 18" being a decent ride if the bell wasn't so tiny, but overall I think Lemon has some work to do on these to make them tru Rolan competitors. For my money, the secondary Roland market is more attractive than these big, hard, loud pads.

Better than roland
Bought to add onto td17 Roland kit. Works brilliantly and with 3 zone it’s much better value than the Roland dual zone and at less than half the price.

Sadly Didn't Work
I really was looking forward to getting this. It came today and after some basic trouble shooting I confirmed that Ride 2 output wasn't working at all. Maybe it's a matter of poor quality control. Thankfully Amazon has a great return policy.
