depends on the product, some will lose efficacy at higher temperatures so the lower the temperature the less you will lose as many types of alkaloids are destroyed by heat an or evaporate

As noted in my review of the product, this product no longer contains maltodextrin, and has not for well over a year. when I last purchased it FOUR YEARS AGO, it contained maltodextrin. Now it is just dandelion root powder.
