Natrol Vitamin D3 10,000 IU Tablets, Supports Immune Health, 60 Count

This brand works well for me but I can no longer find it anywhere. I used to get the dry D3 10,000 ius but I cannot find that anymore

I am fair-skinned and burn easily, so I have trouble getting adequate levels of Vitamin D. As a result, I am usually deficient when I get blood tests. Rheumatologists have diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis and have recommended Vitamin D3 due to deficiency, but also because it helps with fibromyalgia symptoms. I have found, when I am running low and I take this supplement, it definitely helps decrease the pain. I like how inexpensive it is, too. I recently tried a different Vitamin D3 supplement because it claimed to be more bioavailable but, within days, I felt horrible body pain. I realized that the thing that changed was the D3 supplement. I still had some tablets left of this supplement and started taking it. Within a day, the pain decreased again. I don't like that this one contains maltodextrin, but the fact that it decreases my chronic pain is reason enough to keep taking it.

As far as I am concerned Vitamin D3 is essential to life. Vitamin D3 is essential to our metabolization of calcium. Our bones benefit, our nervous system benefits and our mood benefits. Don't be deceived by anyone who says D2 is a phyto-analog to D3. It is not. Natrol does a good job with this D3 supplement. I good high dose at a good price. I feel much better when I remember to take my D3 and so do many of my friends. It is important to be consistent or your results will not be as good. *If you are Kosher then find a vegetarian form of D3. D2 only mimics D3. Research has shown that D2 stops working half way through the metabolization of Calcium. A person can ingest D2, thinking that it is Kosher, and still end up with osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, depression, kidney stones and other calcium deposits all over the body. I don't think Divine Being wishes us to be so crippled, depressed or otherwise impaired so I stick with D3 exclusively and avoid D2 like the plague.

I have used this D3 supplement for years. When my doctor initially wanted me on 10,000 IU, I chose this because it was a great price point for the amount. And with this supplement I am no longer deficient on my D3. So, great price, only once a week and it delivers!

Vitamin D.. when you need that "D" in your life this is the best. Haha Really this is a great supplement. Choose wisely with what you put in your body.

I have major depressive disorder and as a result do not get much sun. I have to increase my vitamin D intake to compensate along with Amazons sunlight lamps which simulates sunlight. The best way I am told this absorbs is when I take it when I take in flax and fish oil. My numbers are good. The cost is outstanding for tablets since I am a vegetarian. I am on a higher than average dosage due to the above issues and taking it 10000 IU at a time helps. This is a good tried and tested brand for me. An increased dosage helped me get work through being sexually assaulted. As my intake went up per the orders of not only my PCP, but my Endocrinologist, Psychiatrist and Physiatrist monitoring the Vitamin Do levels and watching my numbers go up, my mood went up as well, allowing me to work thru that insanity. You will not regret this purchase but be sure to be followed by your doctor.

This is a company that I truly trust. I take a multitude of vitamins from them and have noticed my blood tests improve with them. I get blood drawn at least every quarter. Each time I've had something low are borderline low, I've purchased that vitamin from Natrol and got my numbers back up.
