A4Pet Outdoor Cat House Weatherproof, Outside Feral Cat Shelter, Wooden Rabbit Cage with Hinged Roof

The product is cute, colorful, and roomy- but there are similar items and I'm afraid I bought the wrong one. Many have only the front entrance so when I saw this one, I jumped. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the bars across the second window- evidently its only for ventilation. The two feral kitties who have been visiting me will enjoy it, but I DO have opossums and skunks that cross my little cement patio. If they surprised a sleeping kitty, he'd have no escape. I've invited my son to drive down for a visit and bring a tool to cut off the center bar - a hassle I didn't anticipate. It would be ideal if this company could engineer the same house with removable bars.....

Really nice, but the pre-cut hinge slots were about 3/8" off, and there were only two pre-drilled holes (4 needed) for the roof retainer bar. No biggie, it's still really nice, and well worth the price. The window has bars, so I replaced them with plexiglass to protect my cat from the cold, since cold weather is just around the corner. I was puzzled at the poor reviews I saw posted, and I'll just say that if you need every detail perfect, buy another model. But if a bit of modification doesn't scare you, then BUY IT! You'll be glad you did.
