Fun game, not perfect but still enjoyable.
Don't know why the Gundam Community has been so harsh with this game. It has its flaws but if you love gundam and especially Gunpla, its right up your alley!

Flawed, but charming and fun.
Glaring issues aside, this is a new installment for the Gundam Breaker series. Not a sequel (hence the "new" in the title instead of a number 4, people). Comparing it to it's Japanese counterpart is like comparing pizza to pie. Sure it has the same shape and general idea, but they aren't even remotely alike. After they fix the laggy combat, it'll speed up the game play. Other than that and the build parts everyone is mad about, this game isn't bad by any standard. The levels are pretty interesting, with one being a snow base with tunnels and such. Colourful and not plain. If you give this game a chance, I have a feeling you'll see past the flaws and see the charming little gunpla game we finally have in the states. Don't scare off Bamco with this overwhelmingly negative reviews, or Western Bamco Gundam games will die out for good.

MOBA based game that has potential.
I was really giving this some thought and tried to give an objective view of the game as its own instead of comparing it to GB3 because even though they are based on gunpla customization, they are in essence two different games. With that said, I am going to try and compare and contrast the two and hopefully give you a better understanding between the two games. While GB3 plays like a true hack and slash game, NGB sorta plays like a MOBA. Inner frames play different roles, skills are locked by a per battle level system, and teams consist of an even number of players on each side with mobs to assist. Its really weird coming into the game at first but after a while, it does grow on you. GB3 on the other hand essentially puts you on the path towards godhood which is what hack and slashes are for.One of the biggest complaints of the game is the combat. It does play differently that GB3, like boost canceling, but it could very well be because this game is multiplayer. Honestly, if you guys had everyone fighting like a Super Saiyan, it would be utterly insane. Concept sounds fun, but it doesn't really work out too well and often. This sorta explains the combat changes in the game. Like with all combat games, combat is something that can chamge and you will have to learn and adapt to it. Its honestly not too bad once you get used to it and can be quite satisfying taking down an annoying gundam with a stun locking bazooka. As for parts, in the previous game, as long as you pick up the part, you get it but in this one, you have to drop it off in a special box in order to receive it. A lot of people are turned off by this but this too brings in own charm and fun to the game. Now a more legitimate complaint is the optimization of the game. Due to a lot of factors, the game itself suffers from lag and random stops in gameplay while all being local. It really does mess with you specially because combat can get really crazy. But, this is something that can be fixed. Many people are writing this game off due to it veering away from previous titles in direction and purpose. It is a gundam moba game under the name of gundam breaker and sooner you accept that it is not its predessor and its own different game, it opens a whole new door of fun and enjoyment. Hopefully they do fix the lag and the slow down issues because that is what is keeping me from giving it a better score.

its a fun game, with a story about overthrowing some school ...
I had this game pre ordered, and it was the first breaker game I've tried. not sure why everyone is being so uppity about it. its a fun game, with a story about overthrowing some school council with the help of your chick friends. combat is cool, getting parts and building your gundam is cool, and it hasn't had any crashes yet for me. a little slowdown though. I also purchased gundam 3, but haven't played it yet. try it if you like gundam, and don't listen to all the " ive been a fan(boy) of the series so long and its crap! " reviews. the stories in these things are never good, so it comes down to combat and building your gundam.

Not a bad game....maybe not 60 bucks worth though
This game is not perfect by any means. But as a long time Gundam fan that wants to build models and fight them this hits the spot. A lot of the framerate and other issues have been patched already. I like it

Toy stroy de robots
Me llego bien y aunque las reseñas no le dan una buena imagen la jugabilidad esta todo bien y de facil entendimiento, la idea de armar tu propio gundam es atractiva

Avoid at all costs!
As someone who has been playing the series since the start, I've found this game incredibly frustrating for a number of reasons and it makes me sad to see what's become of it. Some key points are as follows: - Like other reviews have said, at random times during combat the frame rate will absolutely tank for no apparent reason; waves of enemies spawning, certain abilities being used, it seems to be completely random as to what triggers it. - For a game that promotes building and customizing your own Gundam, you're forced to Frankenstein in the middle of a battle as your parts can and will be broken off and unrecoverable forcing you to use either whatever you pick up off the ground or activate an ultimate ability for a temporary buff in stats and a restore to the condition you had at the stage's start. - Part collecting has become an absolute chore, as you're limited to holding 5 spare parts at a time that you have to deposit into a bin to save for the mission end so you can continue collecting. As you do so you become completely vulnerable to attack and interruptions so the enemy team can either bullrush you or complete mission objectives while you aren't around. Quite frankly, I feel like I could write a full-length essay with how thoroughly I've been disappointed with this game; do yourself a favour and DO NOT buy it, even if it goes on a flash sale.

Big oof but not totally unredeemable
This game is a sadfest. No, this is not because of the story. The fact that this is the long awaited GB debut to the west is what's saddening. It is not a good game.Combat system is unresponsive. When ennmies gang up on you, which happens a whole lot, good luck trying to get out of there alive. Suit count is much lesser than GB3. Gunpla customization is now dull because one, the collecting mechanic is tedious and complicated for No. Reason. Whatsoever. other than "lets make the game harder" and two, you cannot even level parts up, which means whatever has the best stats is what you should use. Online is dead, because who even plays this game anymore. Actually, who even buys NGB to do competitive PvP anyway. I'm sorry if I misunderstand that part, I'm a solo player.Notice that I gave 2 stars, because I judge that there are a small amount of good points. First of all, in the photo mode, there are more poses and backgrounds than ever. Second point, the girls are actually pretty cute and likeable, although good lord, they're basic as heckers. Third and last point, the story isn't as predictable as you could think.I guess that's it.Now I'll insert GB3 in my console and resume playing this better game instead. while waiting for a maybe possible whoknowssometimesthatcouldhappen update that might fis things up. Goodnight.
