Hi, could you tell me if the tongue of these shoes is attached at the sides or not as in normal shoes.

The tongue is attached to the sides very comfortable walking shoes I would recommend these

I'm on my second pair. They're very comfortable and I've walked into the sea to pick up the dog's ball,my feet stayed dry. Also when hosing down my garden the shoes got very wet,my feet stayed dry.

Are these shoes Waterproof?

I would say more like light shower proof. I still sprayed them with waterproofing to give them more protection.
