This was bought as a gift. I got a medium. The receiver says the fit is perfect. No need to size up. However the inseam is 2 inches long and will need to be taken to a seamstress. If you're buying for someone who is anywhere between 5'10 to 6 feet tall, the inseam wouldn't be an issue. Comfortable. Pockets are nice and deep. The overall quality is good. Washes well without fraying, or pilling.
