As simple a device as this is it is a lifesaver. Since it works exactly as it should I will share my experience here as well.Missed barbecue opportunitiesMemorial DayFather's Day Got a new to me grill and spent the better part of a day deep cleaning it with my fiance. Planned to break it in on Memorial Day no tank, no gas. Defeated we ordered out. Figured Father's Day would be my day to slay on the grill but was again thwarted by an empty tank. With July 4th approaching, I started to gather my desired supplies and tried to prepare the day. One of those supplies was this gauge. While only checking the fit, I opened the valve and was pleasantly surprised when it immediately showed a full tank. After realizing I'd had a full tank the whole time I decided the 4th was too far away and broke in my burners two days later. Personally, I turn my gas off at the tank after I'm done each time so I have to remember to open the valve to check the level. Not much fo a con but it did almost have me running to get a new tank because I quickly glanced instead of investigating. Can't speak about why the other, more expensive units but this one has already paid for itself.

This gauge works well and is easy to install. Provides accurate readings for a low price. Highly recommended

It lets you know how much gas you have left ….genius

The quality of the product is pretty good, I installed it, and when it indicated that I was running out of propane I installed a new tank, with the topped-off tank it has been indicating that the tank is half full. When I know it is not true.Unsure if that was due to the weather messing with the gauge or that it did not measure properly.
