First thing I noticed was the quality of this brace. The materials of this item look and feel fantastic. And the craftmanship is just beautiful, it is so well made.My old dog is having trouble walking because of his hips and I hope to keep him moving for as long as possible. I haven't had it long enough to know if it will really help him. But I know a brace makes a huge difference in how my bad knee feels. So it's worth a try for him, right? I can tell you that with all the adjustments, it fits like a glove. Every part of it can be adjusted. I will warn you, it looks like a big tangle of straps when you first look at it! Don't let that get you, it makes perfect sense once you really look at it for a minute. Apparently it is also comfortable, my dog doesn't mind wearing it, and I can tell you, he would let me know! So I will try to continue my review after he has had a chance to wear it awhile. I hope I can tell you that his walking has improved and that he is acting like his hips are less painful. But I wanted to let you know how good the quality of this brace is in case you are trying to decide whether or not to buy it.I put this review aside and kind of forgot about it. But I want to finish it now, in case someone is on the fence about getting it. I wish I had gotten the brace when my dog's hips first started getting bad.Several weeks have gone by. My sweet old friend, who was by my side for 14 years, has passed. I still want to talk about that brace. I feel like it really made a significant difference in the quality of the last weeks of my dog's life.We still had our daily walks, which by that time mainly consisted of Biscuit wobbling down the road with me trying to keep his back legs under him. He was a hundred pounds and it was hard to handle that much weight. Once I bought the brace it was much easier. For one thing, there were handles by his shoulders and hips that I could grab and steady him. For the other thing that brace had an adjustable pad on each side that was snug against his hips. That pressure against each hip seemed to make his gait more normal and less painful. I think it was like when you wrap a bad ankle, you have less pain and can walk better.Another thing I wanted to mention was how those pads that fit over his hips not only gave support to his hips, but also served to protect them if he did fall. Hip dysplasia causes a dog to fall sometimes and I was so scared that one of his fragile old bones would break.Biscuit still loved life and having that brace helped him to enjoy his routines a little bit longer, for which I am grateful. I didn't get to use this brace very long, but I am sure glad that I went ahead and bought it. I didn't even know about braces for dogs with hip dysplasia until I happened upon this one on Amazon. I wish I had purchased it much sooner for him.

The clip on harness made it easy and quick to put on, and being able to adjust it via the velcro straps mad ethis one of the best harnesses we found. The quality of the harness seems sturdy and should last a long time..

Very good quality, but the size recommendations are way off. I bought it for my german shepherd and chose the size recommended for that specific breed. It's huge! Had to give it away.

After attempting to put it on my dog and him not being comfortable in it. I got in contact with customer service and they were great trying to help me to see if I was doing it wrong but it was just my dog that wasn’t happy with it. They were very helpful

You love your dog I know…and you’ll buy anything to help them. This item is well marketed and hits the heart…it falls off, makes the dog uncomfortable, and doesn’t help anything other than making the dogs life even worse with stress and anxiety.

Product works as advertised. Allowed me to assist my 135 lb pit mastiff comfortably (here and mine)..

I really liked this brace I purchased for my German Shepherd, she was having a hard time when I took her on her walks. This brace gives her support on her back legs and with the handle on the back I can help her by lifting her a little allowing her to walk better. I truly recommend this brace.

When our German Shepherd started having difficulty walking we looked for a supportive bracing system designed to support the pelvis and legs and allow us to assist her walking; this brace was perfect for our needs. It was easy to apply and labeled well for right and left. It surely helped us help our dog maintain as much mobility for as long as possible.
