I am extremely impressed and grateful for this Raw Paws Virgin Organic Coconut Oil!! This review isn’t sponsored or anything so please believe when I tell you this stuff works wonders on skin, coat, moisturizing, relieving itchy/flaky and irritated skin and smells amazing! My 8yr old pit bull has been taking steroids for yrs because she is immunocompromised and has several skin and internal issues. The combination of issues make it hard for her body to heal and regrow her fur. She stayed with my friend when I left town for a week and got bit by a bug in the grass. The bite didn’t get taken care of until I got back and was already infected by that time. She also laid in the grass a little too long and so we found out she’s now allergic to pollen/grass and started blistering and loosing fur all over her body. This was about 6 months ago and we’ve tried several medications and nothing was helping. It was getting worse, I couldn’t even pet her without her flinching or moving away and she wouldn’t even lick herself - they were just getting worse. She has medicated shampoo and everything. I started wondering if there was a lotion for dogs and started searching Amazon- this wonderful product showed up. I truly thought it was expensive because she’s a big dog and the bigger container was like $25 but I’ve always heard coconut oil is great for several things so I ordered it! The VERY NEXT DAY her skin was moisturized. Now, I wasn’t stingy about how much I applied. I put some gloves on, and basically applied it all over like a lotion. She smelled delicious and I even put some in her food and she absolutely loves it! She was excited to let me rub some more on her the next day which made me understand it actually makes her feel better too. Her spots weren’t red or irritated, she still had flakiness but it was only 24hrs later so I wasn’t even expecting her to look or feel better yet. 13 days and 7 applications later (no new med or diet changes), her fur has grown back drastically and she enjoys my pets again! She’s only got 2 flaky spots but she’s so soft and happy again. No more sweeping up her dead flaky skin and fur every night. AND there’s plenty coconut oil left!! I don’t know if this stuff will work for your issue but I was at the point of thinking she was about to pass away because of how bad it was looking and I had spent thousands of dollars on medications, vets and specialists and had just about given up. Even if doesn’t work for their skin/fur, they can still enjoy it as a healthy treat so you wouldn’t be losing anything. At room temperature, the consistency is like a softened butter and then it melts in your hands/on their skin. Mine arrived melted but I just put in it the fridge to solidify and took it back out to stay room temperature. It was too hard for my liking in the fridge but if you just want shavings, you can refrigerate it and use a spoon to remove shavings for them to have coconut water or coconut on the food. Very versatile, healthy, and effective! Just try it, it’s honestly so amazing and helped so much.

I normally don’t give anything 5 stars but let me tell you this is a miracle product! My dog is a deep and has lots of allergy and skin issues. We’ve tried many things even prescribed by her vet and it clears up and comes right back. I waited to write this review to see the true benefits and I will recommend this to everyone and anyone with pets. My dogs allergies have cleared up within a week of use!!! I rub a small amount on her entire underbelly and body, I also add to her nose, paw and eyes and I feed her 1/4 of a teaspoon once a week. Best thing I’ve ever tried and it’s safe to use without steroids! Also has a very light pleasant smell. My dog even loves it

I like this for my Maltese because of how light it is. I try to use products that are as natural and healthy as possible so this fit the bill. I've used other coconut oil and it's so heavy in him that it weighs his hair done but this has not done that - maybe because it is specifically made for dogs. It smells good, as well. I'm still trying to use coconut oil on his paws but he always licks it off. I took one star off for how small the jar is for the price.

Good price, good product and quality, liked the coconut smell, did control itching for a moment, product did what it was intended for, but dealing with the fleas was a nightmare until we paired it with vacuuming and adams flea spray.

This smells amazing and actually makes her coat and dry areas look and feel healthier. She spent more time tasting this but the effectiveness and softness is amazing

Zoey’s tummy did not find this product to help her with her itchy skin. I bathed her and then put it on. It made her coat greasy, it did smell nice, but I won’t be buying it again. You get a small jar for a steep price and its effectiveness was not to my satisfaction nor my poor doggy!

This is the best. My pugs hair is so soft. This also helped her from being so dried out.
