My son has autism he wanted a submarine, I bought this because of its features and it looks so realistic. It works perfectly and he plays with it in the dark with his sea animals. The bathtub was the best place to play with it he dives and turns perfectly, I actually enjoyed this too, it’s pretty durable because he is very rough on toys it came with spare parts and a compartment to keep them as well. Instructions would have been nice lol. We had it for months now and it still works like new.

Right motor stopped working after 2nd use. Also it's not neutrally buoyant so it always floats to the surface. Cool little toy, cool concept, but a failure in the end. If weights were added to make it neutrally buoyant in fresh water and the motors didnt fail it would be awesome.

It seems well designed and the built quality of the sub is good; remote - not so much.It is 27MHz which means that you cannot go any deeper that 5-6 inches. The good news is that the sub surfaces when it loses connection.The remote is _not_ waterproof, which means that any splash could damage it - very bad design decision for a submarine remote. In general, it feels cheap (and it is cheap). Ours stopped working after a few weeks, even though I kept it in a plastic bag. That rendered the whole toy useless.So, it is a cheap toy for a few days of fun. Feel bad about all the energy and materials that went into it.

I bought this as a bath toy for my son (me controlling it obviously) and couldn't be happier. He cannot get enough of this toy and loves turning the lights off when in use. This helped him get over being in the dark and he loves bath time even more. The battery life is pretty decent (about 2 hours of active time per charge). The only gripe I have is when going forward, sometimes the rudder gets stuck and the boat will go in circles unless I manually twist it back to center position. Other than that I love this submarine.

It is a kind of fun toy. But it is very hard to control. It has a natural buoyancy which means that you have fight coming up. It is only good down to about 2-1/2 feet then it is out of range and the control inputs stop working. It is also hard to control turning left and right.

IF YOU HAVE A YOUNG PERSON and they love RC items then they will Love 💕 this small craft . It dives and operates great for a small under water toy. It’s a very interesting and fun to play with.

This little sub is great, well worth the money. We use it in small creeks, large puddles. I use a cheap battery to charge the submarine or use usb to connect my computer to charge. Submarines can be recharged, as long as you follow the seller's advice. Don't get too far from the submarine. The signal is very good.
