Buying this Tascam equipment has been a dreadful experience. I bought this AK-BT2 to go with the Tascam FR-AV2. The instructions from TASCAM are really poor and not useful. They don't list any instructions for things that would be really useful like how to instal the AK-BT2 into the FR-AV2 without breaking the recorder. The problem is all this gear is made of plastic of very little substance. Careful instructions would have been appreciated in order not to break anything. In use it connects well with my iPhone 13 although it's not a seamless operation like connecting my Sony headphones to my iPhone. Also there is a terrible time delay between my Sony headphones and the Tascam recorder via this TASCAM Bluetooth adaptor which makes it quite useless. I can have a seamless conversation with my partner thousands of miles a way in South Africa but get terrible sync issues over one meter with this Tascam set up. Absolute rubbish. Wired headphones work fine but it does rather defeat the whole object of having the Bluetooth adaptor!

Does its job. Wasn't expecting anything more or less. Do I wish the FR-AV2 already came with the bluetooth feature built in? Sure. But whatever. Works and it's a phenomenal sound recorder so no complaints.
