Sooooooooooo Good!!
I went out on a limb and thought I would try a new energy cookie. SO GLAD I DID!! The Mocha flavor was great and the texture was the best I've had from any of the energy cookies/bars. I highly recommend these!! Worth the money!!

Love to grab this on the run when I have ...
Love to grab this on the run when I have no time to eat a proper breakfast. Think it'll also be perfect for the 3 o'clock slump when dinner isn't until 7. Not too sweet either, so more like a protein bar taste than a cookie which would be too sweet for breakfast.

I didn't Like These at ALL
I'm sorry, I love chocolate and I love cookies but I couldn't stand these cookies. The cookie was dry, dry, dry so incredibly dry! The texture was off putting it was closer to a brownie but a brownie made of sadness and hay. The chocolate chips had no density, at room temperature it was soft, felt as if it were melted and runny, just strange. While the ingredients might be healthy in that they weren't created in Dr. Frankenstein's lab; no gluten, soy, dairy, GMOs but there's 270 calories in a three inch so called 'cookie', 11g of fat, 33 carbs, 17g of sugar and 10g of protein. They call it nutrient dense but there's only 100mg of calcium, 3.6mg of iron and 140mg of potassium that's it. There's nothing impressive or even very good about these.

Worthy vegan option
Protein/nutrition bars are my snacks of choice, and with vegetarian/vegan family members, I'm always on the lookout for a good vegan option. The Healthy Skoop protein cookie is a worthy addition to the nutrition bar category. Each cookie has 10 grams of protein, and is soy-, gluten-, dairy- and GMO-free. (The protein comes from a plant-based protein powder derived from peas and brown rice.) Don't let that last sentence deter you; the cookie tastes nothing at all like rice or peas. :)As for taste, the Healthy Skoop protein cookies actually taste pretty good... for a protein/nutrition bar, that is; if you're comparing it to gourmet cookies or even a humble Toll House chocolate chip cookie, you'll be disappointed. It's got a rather thick, dry texture; I'd call it more of a brownie/cookie hybrid. The chocolate chips give it a nice sweet kick that adds greatly to the taste. It also doesn't have the unpleasant chalky aftertaste you sometimes get with protein bars (although those bars usually have much higher protein counts). One other benefit: It doesn't have a chocolate coating, so you don't have to worry about it melting and getting all over if you're eating it in the car or carrying it around in a purse or backpack. My main criticism of the product is that, at 270 calories and 33 grams of carbohydrates, it pushes the boundary of how much I want to consume as a snack. For that reason, I'm more likely to stick to Think Thin protein bars (also 10 grams of protein, but only 150 calories) as my usual snack, but it's nice to have the Healthy Skoop cookies around as a change or pace, or when I want something I can eat in the car without too much of a mess.

Tasty but dry cookie/meal replacement bar
When one of these "cookies" clocks in at 270 calories, you have to ask "is it a 'cookie' or is it a round meal replacement bar?" I think its pretty much the latter. Not that it is it totally gross, but its a bit of a stretch to put this in the same category as Grandma's chocolate chip cookies. Now, grandma's cookies didn't have 10 grams of protein or 3 grams of fiber either, and they probably had more than 17 grams of sugar and 11 grams of fat, but this is still a healthy whack of calories to take down all at once. The first ingredient in these, which accounts for much of the fat, is almond butter, with chocolate chips coming in second and a proprietary veggie protein blend next.Overall, I would certainly take these on a hike and would experiment with them as a meal replacement snack if I was eating six meals a day. But certainly consider them more of a bar and less of a cookie and you are less likely to be disappointed. Nevertheless:Recommended.

Dry, bizarre taste, high in fat and sugar
I took two bites and couldn't stand to try another. This cookie is dry and tastes very strange - not like any chocolate I've ever had before. I looked at the nutrients list and see that each cookie contains 11 - count 'em 11 - total fat grams. 17 grams of sugars. I can't consider this to be a healthy snack or meal replacement. And since it tastes weird, I can't even consider it a guilty indulgence. I don't recommend.
