I get very bad razor burn, this is a god send for me as an alternative to shaving. Don't leave in too long, it works fast to remove unwanted hair.

The product does not smell like the other brands. Slight chemical burning feeling yet does not linger. Works quite well, just need to apply liberally.

I tried for the first time, and it felt like I had acid on my face. It removed no facial hair, and I had to shave with a regular razor after wiping off the cream. The razor was better than the cream. It advertises that it will give you a smooth face better than a razor could possibly give, but that is just crap.

Product made my skin irritated and made it itchy

I have been using Magic Shave since the very first time I shaved as a teenager, and I've used nothing else. It gets my skin VERY smooth and soft, and really does help to prevent ingrown hairs. And yes, it DOES work on body hair; I have used it on my chest and private areas (I haven't ever used it on my underarms, though), and it works just as well as it does on my face.My advice for best results is to apply a GENEROUS amount of the cream to your face; not SUPER thick, but thick enough that you can't see the hair beneath it. Also, don't wait too long between shaves before using it; I shave about every 4-5 days, no less than once a week, and I can get about 6 or 7 uses out of one tube. The product definitely works BEST on short hair.Finally, DO A TEST PATCH before using it on your entire face. Not only will you know how it will react with your skin, you will be able to determine how long you need to leave the product on for best results. Personally, I have to leave it on between 10-15 minutes, depending on how long my hair has grown between shaves. If it dries out a bit while I'm waiting, I just wet my fingertips and pat my face, and it rehydrates almost instantly.Unfortunately, this product seems to be getting harder to find in retail stores, so I truly hope Amazon keeps it in stock!
