We used his favorite food Greek yogurt and he licked it clean, working at it for about 10 minutes, walked away, then went back to check to make sure he got it all. We worried that it might make his tongue sore on initial use but he doesn't seem to be bothered by it.I am a little disappointed in the size, I thought it would be a little bigger. I imagined putting his raw food for meals on it because sometimes he has an aversion to his dishes. (He's a shy, fearful boy) Also, be aware, the picture is misleading, you only get one; fortunately I knew that from reading reviews and product info. before ordering, but ininitially, from the picture I thought there were two.I am more disappointed in the fact that although it says Dishwasher Safe, when I ran it through the dishwasher this evening it curled up and now doesn't lay flat. My dishwasher doesn't have a dry cycle, either, so dry heat didn't cause it.
