Really enjoying this book, so informative and attractive.

Four very talented artists show off how they create their amazing artistic maps. I enjoyed seeing the finished result but really the step-by-step is pretty meaningless unless you are already a pro artist. It would be much better conveyed (and more interesting for amateurs) as a video, not suited to a book format.

I highly recommend if you need ideas or learning different type of illustration maps!!! It has been difficult finding a book like this one when I needed it for an assignment but I am glad I got it when I did. This was my favorite assignment I had in that class! I spent a lot of time researching my city I had to choose and this book helped me get ideas of how to design it and great examples! It has many different types of maps like a word map, illustrations maps, city to state maps!!! I hope this helps someone this comment to buy this!

This is a very fun and creative book for those who enjoy drawing maps. Lots of great ideas to get you started.

Beautiful to look at. Bought it for my preteen boys and it wasn’t quite what they were hoping for, so will keep searching for another. But we all enjoyed looking through it.

I took a map art class and wanted to supplement with a few books on the subject. This one fit the bill…:)

This is a work of art on its own. It shows maps by 4 different artists.There is an emphasis on doing computer maps.Getting Adobe is too expensive for me.There is some instruction but not as much as I would wish. I think it's more of an inspiration book and for me it's not enough of an art map instruction book so I will be getting another. Yet, it is still a nice addition to my art library.
