Used on a 1994 Jeep YJ
Only needed the spring and small plastic keeper. Current running a grant aftermarket steering wheel in my Jeep so the horn connection is different than OEM configuration. This kit had everything thing I needed to get the horn operating correctly.

Made it Work for me
For my 1970 Buick GS 455, the horn was in op, I discovered this pin was missing. I ordered it thinking i would have to shorten it. Well, It was not long enough for the hole it fits in. So a made a part that would fall in the hole and not get stuck about 3/16" or so (metal). then dropped the pin and spring in and now it works!! With out having to buy a different pin/spring assembly. Great to have a horn.

it fit my 1993 Jeep Wrangler ...
I couldn't find the part for my Jeep Wrangler 1993. The head of the pin is slightly larger than the original pin, so I filed it down slightly to fit. Now my horn works on my Jeep for 7 bucks.

Works with some modification
I installed this on a 94 Wrangler YJ. As per instructions, you do need to cut that metal pin down to what the instructions say for any vehicle after 1969 (or one of those years). I want to guess that I ended up cutting it to 1.75", or maybe it was 1.25". Just follow the instructions to what to cut it to and it's right. Now for that plastic retainer cap.... On my YJ, I didn't have a notch in the horn contact barrel part so that this plastic piece locked in. I ended up cutting that plastic tab off, but when I did that, the cap didn't stay. Luckily, I still had the original retaining ring and was able to use that. Maybe Dorman makes another black plastic ring for the YJ, but that was my only problem with it. And it would also had been helpful if there was a diagram of how everything goes together. I had to find a youtube video to see how it all fits in.

Excellent Replacement Horn Contact
Bought this because my horn has not worked for 22 years I have owned the vehicle. Finally have been going through it and this piece and a couple Luther’s were miss isn’t. Installed this replacement and some other stuff and now my horn works as advertised!

Jeep CJ7
Utilicé en un volante original de Jeep CJ7. Simplemente necesito ligero desgaste en la base para que entrará en el orificio que debe de ir. Amazon indicaba que no le quedaba.
