Absolutely worth it, whether upgrading or getting for the first time!
This kindle truly surpassed my expectations. I upgraded from a 7th gen Kindle Paperwhite (2015) and I have to say that it's so amazing compared to my older Kindle. The display is so much larger in person and the new paperwhite is somehow lighter! The battery so far seems decent, it's really easy to buy and download books. I would 100% recommend this kindle to someone who has never had one. It really reduces the friction of reading a book and makes you enjoy it a lot more. The device is very light, thin and is perfectly portable with a nice crisp display and backlight in yellow and white too, but would recommend a case as it can probably get scratched easily.

The best product
It was my best decision to buy this electronic book. Very easy to use, light, can bring with me anywhere and can read before I sleep without disturbing anyone with switched off light. Recommend for everyone who likes to read a lot.

Useless device, waste of money.. go for Kobo
The kindle unlimited subscription is not supported by Amazon in UAE so you have to buy each and every book you want to read, also the device it self has a lag and for me it is extremely useless .. just a big waste of of money now I need to buy another kobo e-reader

Love the new Kindle Paperwhite! :-)
This new Kindle Paperwhite is crisp, lightweight, and very fast in turning the pages; faster than the previous version. The feel of the screen is lovely. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Upgrade that is worth it
I’ve been contemplating about upgrading to the latest Paperwhite for several weeks. My old standard Kindle 10th generation is alive and well, even the battery still lasts weeks. I was trying to be e-waste cognizant, thinking that I don’t really need to change, etc. But with the Thanksgiving promotion, I decided to pull the trigger.…Feels like a step-change! Haven’t noticed any drawbacks yet, frankly. Despite some reviews I did not notice any un-uniformity of the light. Warm light is a huge difference for you eyes if you like to read in the dark. The loading speed and page turning finally feels like more or less modern technology, not the XX-century. It’s swift, almost no delay and even has slight animation). Wireless charging! You can now charge almost everything on the single q-charger. USB-C is also there and charges very fast, mine went from 41% to 87% in ~20 minutes.The screen is noticeably crisper, pictures are finally pictures, not a blurred grey spot.Oh, and don’t worry about the size-the difference is there, but I’d call it negligible. I went for the Signature edition, as the price difference is not that high.If you’re still hesitating, don’t! You won’t regret it!
