Impressed that it is well made and already has brackets mounted to the back. Came with the chess pieces and the mounting hardware for the wall. Well packaged to prevent damage in shipment too.

It's cheap, but its nice.
Its what you would expect for the price. Assembled well with cheap materials. The chess pieces themselves are great but are plastic, not carved wood as advertised. Still great pieces. Some of my favorite from any set I own. I got this board/set during prime days for a discounted price. I'm glad I waited for the sale. Overall great buy on sale.

Oh, Boy...The Designer Should Maybe Play a Game of Chess Before Designing a Chess Board
I haven't bought this product, but I have to wonder if the designer has ever actually seen a chess board before. The thing is...the standard chess board is a square. 8X8. So this rectangle design doesn't really make sense. I was interested in the idea of the product to study hard chess problems, but this board doesn't really work for this. It's a lovely bit of wall art, but has nothing to do with chess.
