It took a long time to put together, but once finished the end result is a beautiful and functional piece of furniture! This desk is HEAVY so try to build it near where you're going to be using it. The instructions were clear and well written, each part was labeled appropriately and was easy to find, there were just a LOT of steps to putting it together so put aside 3-4 hours to build if doing it by yourself.

The quality of this desk is excellent! The instructions were clear and easy to follow, but be prepared—it will take you at least 6 hours to assemble. Make sure to build it in the room where you plan to keep it since the desk weighs over 140 lbs when fully assembled. There are a lot of parts, so I recommend taking each one out and checking it off the list before you start.While the instructions advise against using a power drill, I used one on the lowest setting (level 1), and it worked perfectly. It saved me a lot of time, just make sure to keep the power low. Don't be overwhelmed by the number of parts; the directions are straightforward. Taking inventory of each part before assembling is crucial.The only issue I encountered was with the brackets for the drawers. I had to lower them slightly from the original markings because the drawers wouldn’t close initially. Once adjusted, everything fit perfectly, and I’m very happy with the desk now.The instructions say two people are needed for assembly, but I was able to do most of it by myself. I only needed help in a couple of spots where my wife held pieces while I secured them. Also, have extra wood glue on hand since the provided tube wasn't enough. If you plan on using a power drill, I highly recommend having a flexible drill extension (snake bit) to help get into tight spaces.Follow these tips, and you should have no trouble putting the desk together. This desk is just what I was looking for. I didn't want a $150 crappy or overly simple desk but I also didn't want to spend $4,000 on a solid wood, high craft piece of furniture. This is just what I was looking for, very much like the old Sauder furniture from years back. There are a few minor imperfections but all and all it's a great value for the price. I'm really happy with it and decided to buy a matching bookshelf as well from the same manufacturer.I worked alone on it and it took about 6 hours all said and done. Directions were mostly clear, there were only a couple of confusing parts. You have to pay VERY close attention to the little details to get the proper direction of placement otherwise you'll be undoing steps.Once together it's pretty solid and looks nice.

This desk is sturdy and it looks very nice. The assembly was easy to follow and complete. We are very pleased with the overall product and would recommend the product and company.

This desk looked perfect for my home office and shipping was quicker than expected. However, multiple parts in the second box were damaged. I have reached out to the seller to replace these parts. If their customer service will replace the broken pieces I will update my review.

I bought this desk for my wife. Great looking desk. It took about 6 hours to put together including all the unboxing, organizing, and cleaning the styrofoam mess. There were no missing parts. Instructions were clear. While it took time to put it together, we are considering ordering some matching pieces for our office so I would say the look made it worth the time.
