It doesn't work right and the supplier does not support it. The do not respond to emails. It was a bad deal and expensive.

I LOVE this watch.Sadly it stopped working about a year after I bought it. I Contacted Accurist corporate in London, they said they don't have the parts for "older models". I contacted an accurist service center in Scotland, they wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole. Same story with a watch repair shop in LA. I really thought Accurist would stand more squarely behind their product. I still have it, I don't wear it if course but it's just too beautiful to toss in the garbage can.

I got this watch around two weeks ago.It's very well designed and got some features that no other watch got.If I don't know what time it is, and it's dark, it's just to click on a button and the watch will tell.When pressing that button at 07:32 the chime will sound 7 times + 2 double chimes (one for every 15 min.) + 2 more chimes - there is also two alarms (or 3 when using two time-zones)The settings is rather easy to set, even if the instructions could have been much better (they are terrible!).The large second hand is telling the date.One thing that makes me to set my rating to 4* and not 5* is that this watch is around 5 millimeters smaller in diameter than other watches, that claims to be 43 millimetres in diameter.I have uploaded a picture with this watch + another Accurist watch that also are 43 millimeter - notice the difference!The glass on this watch is 32 millimeter and the other Accurist watch is 42 millimeter in diameter.I am very satisfied with this watch, it's hard to find find a watch with all this functions without any LED-display.Check my picture(and perhaps my other watches that I have bought from Amazon)

You have got to love Amazon....a really nice luxury watch with elegant looks and superb chiming repeater function. Is quartz but a similar mechanical watch would cost thousands rather than under £200!! Full instructions for complex functions included but can also download them free from Accurist site. Bit uncomfortable at first as butterfly strap but soon softens up and is now OK. All parts of watch work well (ignore low stars review as not read instructions properly). I love buying watches and buy them to wear - you can never have enough watches!! Thank you Amazon...from a very satisfied customer......Calum

Really liked this watch, but almost to the day the warranty finished, it packed up.I had a watch in for service with a registered Omega specialist ,so asked him to change the battery in this watch. He told me it wasn't the battery, but the circuit board that was faulty and needed to be returned to Accurist, this I did.Watch returned within a week with a lame message saying " we regret " model discontinued can't repair. Must have opened the package, put in the note, and through it back in the post. Gave the impression they couldn't give a s***.The amount of watches that use same movement and they couldn't source spares? ? ?So in a nutshell, you could end up spending a few hundred quid on a watch that might not last a couple of years, and can't be repaired , at least by Accurist's service department

I am pleased with the look and feel of the watch but the gold hands are sometimes hard to see against the silver dial. Also I chose the watch as it appeared to have a simple leather strap but in fact the strap has the same fixing as a metal watchband. The adusting mechanism irritaes my wrist. I will probabl change the strap.

I have had this watch for a few moths but don't wear it often. It's certainly a beautiful thing though telling time at glance is not always easy due to the delicacy of the hands and degree of information. Setting it up is not difficult if you follow the intrusions. The big issue I have is the strap. Yes it's leather and the clasp is nice BUT accurist for reasons known only to themselves only supply a strap big enough for a more dainty wrist. I can get it on and secure it but it's on the last hole. OK I an buy another strap but why should I? Even at discounted Amazon prices paying extra for another strap is not acceptable. That said the strap is comfortable and if your wrist is less than 20cm (8 inches) you won't have an issue. I love the watch but don't understand how a budget accurist can fit better than a premium product.
