You can never have too many replacement filters for a fully stocked preparedness kit.This is an exact unit from the Greeshow company itself and only differs in color, being black instead of green. It works the same and provides peace of mind when adding it to your bugout bag or backpack.While the original filter that came with the unit runs well when new, I'm sure that over time the unit will slow down as the debris piles up inside.
