Amazing quality , perfect for Expressor lovers
Great upgrade for my Breville expressor machine. The build quality is excellent, and the included puck screen and filter basket work perfectly. It pulls smooth, consistent shots and makes it easy to monitor extraction. Highly recommend.

Solid portafilter (that doesn't fit my crappy Chinese espresso machine)
I got this portafilter as a replacement for the plastic-interior pressurized one that came w/ a cheapo espresso machine (Keenstar) I got earlier this year. Turns out that they’ve made the machine so that it doesn’t take regular portafilters, so I can’t use it at the moment, but I still want to review this product, since it's WAY better than the machine I bought it for. What I can report on: a) this fits the filter basket of their 51mm portafilter, so the size seems accurate, and b) I love the feel of it. It’s very substantial and heavy--and would even make a nice hand tool (ha ha). The handle is a little longer than I’m used to, but that’s good for getting a little more leverage when you’re putting the portafilter into place. In my picture, you can see the KOFIKOFI on the left and the OEM portafilter on the right. They seem like they're different sizes, but the baskets are interchangeable. But just looking at the ears, you can see that the OEM is shaved down, which is what makes this one not fit. Their handle is lightweight plastic, too, whereas this is metal. Just a much better product.Overall, I’m impressed with the quality of this portafilter. Just be sure that your machine isn't some no-name that's trying to ensure that people can't upgrade parts of it.

High Quality and Affordable Portafilter
The media could not be loaded. Fits Delonghi Dedica EC680M perfectly. Detailed finish, ergonomic handle, 304 stainless steel. Make sure to pre-tighten the parts for smooth handling. Basket holds 14 g, smaller than expected but double that of the machine’s original.Screen puck definitely helps with even water distribution, did have to grind much finer and tamp harder. Crema and flavor is a lot thicker than a pressurized basket. Excited to finetune my espresso!

Good quality
Good quality. Great fit for the basket. It did not fit the specialista coffee machine. Could use the basket and the screen.

I modified it to work in a Gevi-like machine
I have a Keenstar espresso maker. I think it's essentially the same as the Gevi, and these are not advertised as the target espresso machines for this Kofikofi portafilter. You can see it in the attached photos. It takes a 51 mm portafilter with 3 ears though, so easy peasy right? No but I made it work. The ears are too thick and too long to fit into the machine. But I shortened the ears, using a belt sander with 80 grit sandpaper. It took probably 20 minutes and would have been faster if I had used 60 grit. The photos are only after the grinding, so you cannot see how long they were originally, but you can still see they are very thick compared with the portafilter that came with my machine, and I could not easily fix the thickness with hand tools. You can see the result in the photos, and how it fits in the machine. It only turns a little in the socket, not all the way, but that's enough to hold it in place. The design of the basket is slightly different. The Keenstar's basket has a little tab that you fit into a slot at the base of the filter, then you spin it to lock it in. It can wobble a little, but it cannot come out. The Kofikofi filter I am reviewing has a wire that runs all the way around the rum and creates pressure on the sides of the basket, holding it firmly. Still despite the difference, it seems either basket will fit acceptably in the other frame, so I agree with another review that the baskets can be swapped. In terms of quality, the Kofikofi is much higher quality and more pleasing than the OEM basket that came with my machine. It's heavier, got a longer handle, and is just more substantial and solid.Definitely recommended if you have the machines it's advertised to fit. If you have a different 3 ear 51mm machine, like me, it's up to you to decide how much adventure you're up for and what sort of a workshop you have.

Excellent quality portafilter
Everything about this portafilter screams quality. The handle is heavy, well-formed, and has a great hand feel. The basket and puck are heavy duty and will serve any home barista well. The ears are thick and lock into place well. This is truly an upgrade to the OEM portafilter that comes with your compatible 51mm machine (be sure to check that the ears on your OEM portafilter aren't rounded for uniquely formed as is the case with some off-brand machines). With its substantial weight and tight fit, this naked portafilter is great for checking your set-up and water distribution. Imo, this style is best for troubleshooting, but it is also great if you're looking for a boosted crema shot. I was able to test this on a De Longhi Dedica alongside the OEM portafilter and the crema with this filter was substantially greater.Considering the build quality and superior function, I think this is a great portafilter and essential tool for any home barista. Happy to recommend.

Heavy Duty - Fine Double Filter
Definitely a good, heavy feel in hand with this portafilter. Longer handle than normal gives good leverage. As usual, it is difficult to get 3-tabbed 51mm portafilter which fits my KLARSTEIN Passionata espresso machine. This one _ALMOST_ does- and will require a bit of grinding on the tabs but I will make it work. The double filter basket looks very good, though I haven't looked at the perforations with a microscope. The addition of a hard filter might be a plus, though I regularly use paper filters.
