Tip-tastic product, functional and pleasing to the eye!
Have to say, only received the item today, but am absolutely delighted with it. I have issues with my grip/lifting etc, and had been reluctant to admit that this was one area for safety reasons, that I needed to resolve. I had looked at standard style 'tippers' but they appear quite unsightly. Another reason was that the kettle I have is not a 'standard' jug style, so knew when the day came I would have to purchase a new kettle as well. Well, for the price this just seemed to fit the bill taking costs into account.It is simple and easy to set-up. The kettle is simple to insert into the cradle, and the lid release button is simple to operate. The 'tipping' action is a dream - I tried it with cold water first, and found I could tip it with just one finger! The mug I use is slightly bigger than standard (as you can see from the photo) as it has a good, wide handle that I find easier to grip, and found that I had to fill the kettle a little above the minimum fill level to accommodate the the lip of the kettle to fill my mug. As I try to be as environmentally friendly as possible, I tend to only boil the minimum amount of water possible, but taking safety into account I am willing to sacrifice this slightly! With a standard size mug or cup, then the minimum fill line would suffice.It looks good and fits in well on my worktop, and to me does not look unsightly or out of place. I am more than happy to recommend this, and so pleased that the manufacturer has produced a design that is functional and pleasing to the eye!

Doesn't last - would not recommend!
I bought one of these for my elderly mother about eighteen months ago. After less than a year it suddenly stopped working. As it had been good up to then I ordered another. Eight months later and the second one has also stopped working. Clearly poorly manufactured - will not be buying another.

Good idea but lots of design faults
I bought this for my elderly Mother. It is easy to fill and of course safe to use , I find that it fills the cup/teapot very slowly thus reducing the risk of splashing scalding water.The problem arises when using on a normal height work surface and person using it is 5’ and a little frail. It takes too much effort for precise slow tilting of the kettle. Works better on a 3’ high working area.The other issue and rather important when the kettle costs over £50 is that it has a very short life span. It lasted no more than 18 months, use of the kettle was light.Can not recommend as there are too many issues to get over, if you are buying for the elderly and frail.

Safety
It was purchased for my mother who finds it difficult to use as the indicator for water level is under the spout. When trying to find the water level the kettle had to be turned to face her and turn away when using so steam didn’t burn her.My mothers hand shake when she lifts things and I thought this would be good as I had noticed hot water goes everywhere when filling the tea pot.She now refuses to use it as finds it difficult to use

Looks amazing and easy to use
Chuffed to bits with my Uccello PowerPour Kettle & Tipper ...it is one of the best purchases I have made this year . My old kettle tipper is way too big and pretty ugly and reminds me all the time of my disabilty ... the PowerPour looks so stylish my able bodied friends and family will enjoy using it just as much as I do.. I have to use it as a tipper and they do not need to as it is so easy to remove from kettle the cradle and use as a "normal" kettle ( bet they will use it as a tipper too) . It is also the quietist kettle that I have owned in a long time .If anyone is considering buying a a kettle tipper for your existing kettle I recommend you give the old kettle away and get one of these as they truely are amazing . I take my hat off to Uccello for disigning and making a kettle and tipper that anyone would be proud to own. I am waiting for my friends to come in my kitchen and say "wow! I love your kettle where did you get it?" they never said they liked my old kettle strapped into the old tipper

Great kettle poor packaging.
I bought this for my mom for her birthday, the kettle is absolutely fantastic for my mom to use she loves it. Now when it arrived the Amazon box was unmarked, but the box the kettle was in was damaged and unsealed as the picture's show, luckily the kettle was undamaged,

DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. I have had 3 of these all stopped working within 18 months. This one lasted 4 months and I will try to get replacement or better still money back.Amazon very quickly agreed to refund the money.

Do not buy - nice but short life span!
i am writing to change my review on this product. My advice would be DO NOT BUY, Yes it still looks good and is fantastic when it’s work- but that is the problem it only last around 24 months and for the cost of the kettle one would expect it to last longer. Our expectations would be for a life span of around 5 years plus So that’s my advice. Nice but expensive.
