Why did you pick this product vs others?: Excellent board, packed with all needed features, good looking, easy to set up. Everything is working great for now, gigabyte control center also works flawlessly controlling my rgb stuff

I tore apart a perfectly working beautiful MSI Z890 Pro Wi-Fi ATX build because I wanted a smaller case. I thought this board was an upgrade. It is far from an upgrade. I fell for the hype, the weight, the look of this board, the fancy reinforcements, fancy heat sinks, white PCB. None of that crap matters if the board doesn’t work well. Navigating the BIOS was difficult. There is lag between mouse movement and the cursor. I had the system online for about 15 minutes when the Realtek Wi-Fi adapter left the chat. I mean it’s just gone. One minute it was there, the next minute it was not. I couldn't get my Lenovo webcam to work for Windows Hello. I did a complete reset and reinstallation of Windows 11, keeping nothing. Fresh install, I reinstalled all the correct drivers and still no webcam or hello, error messages in device messenger, just a frustrating mess. I was up until 4am trying to troubleshoot this thing before giving up, disgusted that I'd ruined a perfectly good PC. The BIOS was such a disappointment compared to other brands. This board does not come with Wi-Fi drivers. If you don't have access to a wired connection, good luck, the Wi-Fi doesn't work when installing Windows 11, if you can even get the WIFI to work at all. There are two versions of this board, each with different WIFI modules. I tried drivers for both, neither worked for me. Update, I replaced this board with a MSI Pro B860M-A WiFi ($61 less!). Wow what a difference! The new board started and EVERYTHING WORKED right out of the gate, requiring no driver downloads for Wi-Fi or Windows Hello even running on the previous Windows install from the Gigabyte board. I still did a complete system reset and finished setting up Windows 11 in no time flat. Zero errors, no issues, all drivers downloaded automatically with the MSI app. Installing MSI motherboards is like driving a Mercedes, while this Gigabyte was like driving a broken Yugo dressed up like a Lamborghini. Save your money and buy something that works.

Great looking product. Has a lot of usb ports. Updating the bios was simple, just go to the support website and download the bios firmware. Minus 1 star because I had a hard time installing windows 11, the motherboard didn’t have the network driver installed. Had to connect the ethernet cable then installed the gigabyte control center software to have the network card enabled. Over all, great product.

Under load on an undervolt (Ultra 5 245kf), CPU was adequately cooled, and well under its thermal limit. CPU started CLIMBING in temp, alongside the voltage. PC Shut off, and would not boot again. CPU functional, MOBO is not. Mouse Cursor also incredibly laggy in bios, alongside absolutely miserable XMP stability, awful BIOS layout and generally terrible boot times, regardless of what version of windows, and what slot I used for my SSD. Would not recommend.

No issues with the hardware. I actually wanted a B860 board but this was pretty much the same price. I looked at all the boards on Amazon and this came with the best ports and features for the price. No issues with XMP at 7200 (I made sure RAM was on the compatible list). My only gripe is software. Bios menus aren't the most intuitive but it does have a lot of settings. Original bios had visual artifacts. Latest one has some help text in English and others in a foreign language, so I have no idea what some settings do. No RGB fan settings. Need to install their software suite that automatically installs Norton 360. I just use Win11 lighting options. No option for a faster fast boot and bios boot screen takes about 14 seconds with unnecessary features disabled.

Received used and defective motherboard instead, with bend pins and usb dongle still attached.

Work accordingly to specs. Able to run xmp profile with DDR5 48G CL32 6800MHz at ease. Only issue I had is the mouse lag in UEFI, which is normal for most gigabyte boards. The boot time took abit longer. About 21 seconds (fresh installed debloated windows 11) Also I notice the file compilation on video from 1st m.2 (application) to 2nd m.2 cache drive is abit slower as compared to other B860M boards.
