This is nice enough and a perfect size for my budgies (that should give you an idea on it's size). I like the textured wood in this instead of just the dowel that is normally used. The issue I had with it was the instructions on putting it together (basically none) and the lack of information about what each part is and for what. It does come with a small Phillips head screwdriver to use which is pretty helpful. There are different lengths of screws as well as pieces with no instructions on what to do and it is not intuitive at all. Once it's together, though, it's awesome. Lots of fun stuff to play on and with. They are enjoying it and it's also nice looking.

So I had a very similar one, but it was a lot smaller and I love that this is bigger so my two birds come on here and like to play. Again, this is very similar to my experience with the one I had previously it is very hard to put together. I really did hurt my hands trying to get this together but this time I used an electric screwdriver which really helped so there’s that. What happened is the holes in the screws? Don’t go all the way in so you have to kind of yourself screw it into the wood. They don’t make the whole big enough well at least on mine.But after that part was over everything fit together nicely and it looks really good and it’s very sturdy and the birds love it. The electric screwdriver really helped so this is some thing you definitely need.

Came quick. Easy to assemble. Great price. Size is perfect. Surprised by the sturdiness. He has not used it yet, he doesn’t like new things easily, but hoping he will try soon.

While this is a fun design and I love that it is made out of different types of wood, it is kind of flimsy. Would work for smaller birds like parakeets or canaries but not for larger birds due to the size in general of the play area and perch diameter. The screws don’t always hold as tight as they could so adding some little rubber washers to grip the wood between the screws helps to keep the little wooden perches and stairs from turning around/spinning. I don’t think it will hold up too long and our conure made fast work of chewing the wood leaving pieces everywhere but he sure had fun doing it. The cockatiels were much gentler and not able to chew chunks of wood off. The tray is easy to pull out and clean but if your bird poops on the side smooth wood pieces or frame it is really hard to the stains out and thoroughly clean. I prefer a PVC bird safe plastic play gym as this is much easier to keep clean, attractive and sanitary.

This was advertised for a big macaw. Once we received the package, we knew it was not macaw size.

This is a sturdy playground for small birds…. Directions could have been better but that’s pretty common these day. My bird enjoys it and I love the metal poop tray because it’s removable and easy to clean. This is not for large birds, more like a parakeet or something close in size. I have a European Starling and he loves it.
