First Round in the Books
Just used this for the first round and it far exceeded expectations. I wanted a rangefinder at a lower price point to replace a lost Bushnell. I loved the Golf Buddy just as much if not more. The buddy mode is an excellent feature and worked better than I thought it would. This feels well made and has a great magnet so I don’t worry about putting it on the cart. I was able to hit pins with ease and seemed like very accurate readings. Couldn’t have asked for something better especially at this price.

A cost-effective product that stays true to the essentials
After taking this product out into the field and using it seven times, I was very satisfied with its performance. It easily captured the flag on the green and provided a clear view of both near and distant objects. The UI is well-designed, making mode switching easy to understand.Considering the price, I found it especially satisfying.

Compact and fast
This is my second GolfBuddy product, the first one was a Laser 1S, and it still great. The 2S adds a magnet to attach to my cart, slope feature, and buddy feature which uses triangulation to calculate the distance when not standing behind the ball, it also acquires whatever target you point at faster than the 1S . I'm a smaller player so the unit feels really comfortable in my hands. The slope feature can be switched off for tournament play and the display is easy to read and understand. The only downside to the 2S is that it still uses a battery rather than being rechargeable and I would've liked a white unit as I've almost left this in carts when I cannot walk.Overall, I really like the 2S for its compactness, the quick target acquisition, and the buddy feature!

Great for the price with lots of features.
Golfbuddy rangefinders are my goto now. I bought one of the earlier models and just really like the features and functionality of their rangefinders. Some of the great main features are large numbers in the viewfinder. They also have great vibration feedback with options of configuring how you want the vibration feedback whether it be the pin or any yardage that is captured. I also like that they don't have fractions of yardages. I think fractions of yardages just makes getting a yardage more complicated than it needs to be.The 2S Pro model has all the great features and functionality of the Golfbuddy rangefinders. There is a couple of things that can be improved on. One is the having more rubber grip on the rangefinder. It is a little slippery. I just like a lot of rubber on my rangefinders. The other is having OLED display. OLED is much easier to see in the viewfinder when the lighting is not great.

Quality product for the price!
I bought this range finder as a suggestion by Amazon. I previously had a Bushnell Tour V6 which is a $400 range finder. Don't get me wrong. The Bushnell was nice but this one has all the bells and whistles. Unfortunately, my Bushnell I left stuck to the cart and someone took notice and took it home with them. So I never got it back unfortunately. So this time around I figured I'd go on the cheaper end and not spend as much money.Well, let me tell you that this is one of the best range finders I've ever tried and owned myself. It has a scan option. Set it to the Scan mode and just point and scan around the course/hole and see the distances. They are pretty accurate. My nephew has a Blue Tees and ours are pretty identical in distance give or take 1-3 yards. The buddy mode is even better. Know where your ball is and have to do cart path only? Take it and use the buddy option. Scan your ball with the buddy option then scan the flag from your cart and it will triangulate the distance for you without having to stand behind your ball. For $100 bucks this is by far one of the best range finders I've every used. The only complaint I have is with the zoom. It's a little hard to twist and change the magnification. At least with mine anyway. I'm not sure if anyone else here that has bought it has had this issue. I have to twist it back in forth a few times to loosen it up but otherwise no other issues. The quality and feel of the range finder is nice. My Bushnell was big and felt hefty but I sometimes had trouble getting the flag. This one is a bit on the smaller side but still feels well built. I can't recommend this range finder enough. Looking for a good price range for a great range finder? This is it.

Possibly the best rangefinder especially for the price
This is an excellent rangefinder. It’s fast, accurate, has a strong magnet, and the buddy mode that triangulates the yardage works perfectly. The only negative I can think of is it’s smaller than all of the other rangefinders I’ve tried but that really doesn’t matter

Moved away from BlueTees
I previously had a Blue Tees Pro 3 max+ that was way more expensive than this. It was super inconsistent after a few uses and refused to lock on or shot a landmark behind the flag. I saw the reviews on this and the price point and thought let's give this a try. It won't break the bank but if it doesn't perform well then it won't be a big loss. First day out and absolutely fell in love with it. Quick lock, accurate distance and ZERO frustrations. Buddy system? absolutely flawless, when I am waiting for my partner to hit and I am ahead of them, I will shoot my ball then the flag and it will give me an accurate distance. Give it a try!

Flag "lock-on" feature!
Love this range finder. Click the button while you're on the flag and it vibrates then locks right on it! Very handy tool and at a better price than the more expensive finders on the market.
