This is an indepth look at how a magnet's invisible waves can influence the human body. Some folks will have a difficult time with the detailed explanations. I think most will experiment with the teaching. Those folks will be rewarded.

The Book: Dr. Philpott treated my bosses daughter (before my hire) with great success. So when I came accross his book on magnets I had to have it. The book is written in simple everyday people terms and is a great reference to keep around. I feel so strongly about his recommendatons that I have purchased several books to give away in an effort to help others. The Magnets: Since going through this cover to cover I have purchased several of his magnets. They work on keeping the body in an alkaline state for optimal health. When I can't sleep I slip one under my lower back and in a very short time I'm in a deep restorative sleep feeling refreshed in the morning. My hematoma knee injury healed much quicker when applying the magnets. I recommend the magnets to others who have had excellent results for their needs. I am just beginning chapter 2. I purchased magnet kit and a neck support with magnets. I did seek professional opinions from those in the physical therapy as well as massage therapy. This is a must read before you begin using magnets to treat your body. There are positives and negatives in using magnets, No Pun Intended! They can improve your overall being or mess you up!

Well researched book. That being said, this book did not meet my needs. One of the anesthesiologists I used to work with used magnet therapy to cure all sorts of ailments. His magnets were tiny, high Gauss magnets which he placed over acupuncture meridians. I still have sets of mini-magnets and was looking for magnet placement to cure tinnitis. This condition was not covered in this book nor does it utilize this type of magnet. Instead, this book recommends large magnets of all shapes and sizes. READING PROGRESS

A good easy read but magnets are hard to find in my area...Why do you always want more words,I said what I had to say,annoying!

A very good book to read.

If you want to know more about how magnetic therapy works and how to use magnets this book is one of the best I found on the subject. I was very sceptic about magnets, but out of desperation driven by a constant pain in my shoulder I tried them and to my utter surprise I managed to spend a whole day without painkillers. Now as a scientist in background I was wondering about how could that be and whether this was a placebo effect.... but the fact is that the pain was real before the magnets were applied and after a week of pain feeling suddenly good again in less than 24 hours it had to be more than psychological. This book attempts to explain the magnetic theory and more interestingly also tells you in what other situations you can use the magnets to aid healing. Excellent book, I bought a second one as a gift to the people who originally gave me the magnets to try!
