The cable tester is very easy to use and is invaluable in determining the length of a cable, quality of the connection, and accuracy of the wiring to a connector. I have not had the unit for very long, but the battery life seems to be great. The crimp tool, capable of doing 4, 6, and 8 wire connections, is also very easy to use and even has a cutter for "through-wire" connectors. The included case keeps everything together and handy. Overall this set is a great value for the money!

This is a good product. They should write a better use manual for it showing which of the three RJ45 sockets to use for each test. Happy with my purchase.
