This item should not get any stars‼️ It’s definitely NOT like the original In-Styler. The 1st one I ordered should have been put in an Amazon box instead of the Amazon envelope package. The box that it’s packaged in came all crushed on both ends of its package. The curler iron part was so ruff that it did not help getting a smooth or shiny effect to hair. I did read other comments giving by others customers that gave negative feedback/reviews on this curling product. They were absolutely correct of the quality, worked poorly & did not work as well as the original In-Styler. It seems to heat okay, but only shows one level. As far as ideas, the manufacturer needs to go back to the drawing board & improve on smoothness on the curling iron part. It can’t shine hair, if the curling iron is so ruff & not smooth. I would NOT recommend this IMPOSTER professional rotating iron from the original In-styler to any customer‼️ I bought it at a risk even reading other customers reviews on this product. I did receive a replacement from the crushed box one. I’m sending them back. Both of them came within the day they said it would be delivered, which was a plus, but both packaging was a problem. One not as crushed as the other box. I’d recommend that Amazon package it in a box rather than Amazon envelope packaging.

I enjoy using this hair curler and it is very convenient.

Didn’t seem to be as good as the old one I had. I loved my old (not purchased on Amazon) this one was a cheaper version. Didn’t like it!

My dughter's In-Styler died, so I wanted to get her a new one for Christmas. I found this one that is not brand name, but looked the same. She tells me that it works, but does not get as hot nor spin as fast as the original.

I bought this product in a pinch as my last one stopped working. I’ve been using the instyler for years now. This does not turn at all like the original. It’s very slow and doesn’t heat up as much. This is the second one I’ve purchased off amazon but the first I’ve had any issues with.

Not at all like the original- it sticks, it does roll easily, hair gets caught in the roller, it’s not hot enough- terrible!

I’ve had mine maybe 16 or so years now. They were originally advertised on late night tv Infomercials. Back then when you bought one, they automatically sent you a second Instyler. I still have them both & I use it every single day. It has a great safety feature, it shuts itself off after a certain period of time. Maybe 15 minutes or so. How many times I’m driving to work & wonder if I shut everything off. Even if I forgot, it’ll shut it for me. Well worth it.

I was hoping this had the quality of the Instyler. It does not, your hair does not go through smoothly, it tangles. Not what I wanted.
