This is so much fun for my son which is 5 and myself. It comes with 2 so no needing to buy more cars unless you have more then 2 players. The drivers fly out of the cars once the other car crashes into the yellow button on both sides. I bought a second one cause I have a 9 year old nephew that has fun playing also. I can't say enough about it. It's just so much fun. The only down fall is I don't have that thick of carpet and the back wheel has a little bit of a tough time turning. Not to the point of not working though which is good. I'm just not sure yet how long these will last on my carpet. I hope a long time. Lol. Over all I highly recommend to everyone. Comes with extra rechargable batteries also and extra tires for the back tire. 😀😀

Not practical. Doesn't really work as bumper cars for kids
Kids would need really good control to operate these as bumper cars. Too fast on either speed and not that maneuverable. The push down mechanism for the driver is clunky and difficult.As fun cars to drive around a room, they are ok.
