I originally thought these were too small. Even when they arrived, I looked at them and thought that they were too small. I started a return but then decided to give it a try and it was pretty simple to fill them and close them and the size is perfect. I’m the kind of person that loves to eat ice but I hate when it’s too big and something about this year of this ice makes it really enjoyable. I also feel a little bit of luxury when I am putting the ice cubes in my glass because they’re so tiny cute. 95% of the ice comes out perfect. I canceled my return and I’m super happy with the purchase.

I LOVE this 1" ice sphere tray set with bin!!! I first tried silicone sphere trays with lids, but it seemed like something was always going wrong, I got the iced, but it was problematic. Not with these trays!!! Apparently the stiffness of the plastic helps to keep the water where it needs to be, and that seems to be the trick to why these work so well. These trays are a true pleasure to use, and I just love things like that, especially since I've been building out my beverages items, and small ice spheres like the ones made by these trays are now my FAVORITE form of ice cube!!! I love these 1" spheres because to me they're the perfect "Goldilocks" solution, ... they're big enough cubes to not melt immediately like crushed ice, and they're not so big that they hit you on the top lip when you're drinking from the glass. I almost got the 0.8" ones and I'm glad I didn't because the 0.8" size just seems too small, but I think that size would be good for people who like to chew on ice, since the other small ice cube trays seem more difficult to use. The first thing I made with my new ice spheres was a 16oz. "cranberry cooler," which is my new go to "water," which is just water with a splash of cranberry juice. I LOVED the way the ice jingled around in the glass, everything swished together nicely and jingled like Christmas music, and I know the standard rectangular ice cubes would have just banged around and I would have drank my drink while they were still just sitting there, ready to bang me on the lip again. With these smaller spheres, if they're still left after I drink my drink, I can just crunch on them as I please. I still have good ice trays for the rectangular ice cube type and I will keep those as backups. But for sure, this set for 1" spheres is my go-to for myself and guests, so I may just order another set for larger gatherings. I absolutely love this set and wish I'd ordered it sooner!!!

These are very adorable little ice cube trays. I love the shape of the balls and it’s fast and easy to fill up the trays and pop them into the freezer. They don’t take long to freeze either. I’d like to purchase something like this in a larger size in the future. The cleaning process is straight forward and easy enough. Releasing the balls from the tray takes a bit of effort but it’s not a big issue. The lids are secure and do not pop or slide off and they fit perfectly into my freezer taking up minimal space.

Does the job! I don’t measure out the water, just fill it up, close it and freeze. I try to let it sit out for a few minutes to soften up before twisting into the container. Takes a bit of time but I haven’t had any problems so far. The container was a bit smaller than I expected so I might find another one to bulk up on my ice. I’d recommend!

These are so stinkin cute, there’s no plastic taste after washing, they come out so perfect! And I love that it came with tiny tongs. The ice release is pretty easy and I love the aesthetic of them! Especially for cocktails and other handcrafted drinks! Makes them look so cute and amazing!

Worst of all, once the ice is formed, getting it out of the mold can be a real hassle. The half-spheres often break apart, leading to messy and frustrating experiences. The uneven filling also means there are frequently flakes of ice on top of the mold, adding to the mess. In conclusion, while the idea of spherical ice cubes is appealing, the execution of this tray could be improved. It's a bit tedious to fill, and removing the ice is more challenging than it should be. If you have the patience to deal with these quirks, you'll enjoy the unique ice shape and the convenience of the included bin. But if convenience is a top priority, you might want to explore other options.

I love it..I bought 2. All i wanted was a affordable way to make ice without spending hundreds of dollars on a tabletop ice maker. This works great, the ice balls come out perfect every time. I don't want everything automated in my life so a little effort to make the ice trays was no problem..my fridge icemaker died, so this felt like the good ol days as a kid we had ice trays. The ice bin comes with a lid! Love it !!!
