Stays Inflated... Nice Sleeping Pad
Fairly comfortable... stays inflated. Seems high quality. Easy to inflate. Plenty long for tall people. I am 6’ 3” tall and fit comfortably on the sleeping pad. I adjust it to my firmness preference. I like how the pad doesn’t suck back air while being deflated which makes packing it back up so much easier. This pad is very durable and well made. I’ve had it for several months now… and it is still staying 100% inflated with no leaks or valve leaks unlike the other sleeping pad I used to have. Very soft n comfortable top material so it’s comfortable even when you sleep directly on the pad with no sheet or cover. This pad is worth every penny I paid for it… and I highly recommend above other pads due to its quality and reliability. I paid about $90 for a different pad I used to have and the cheap valve on it began to leak after only a few uses. I have discovered had I just spent a little extra for this pad… I never would have had to go through all that sleeping pad drama and waste of money in the first place. Just buy this pad and get it right the first time. You won’t regret it. 5 stars. Satisfied customer.

The best pad ever!
I rarely leave reviews, but this sleeping pad is so amazing and made my camping life so much better, that I had to. I have been camping for over 20 years and comfortable sleep is important to me. Yes, it does self inflate. Yes, you will pump air at the end to completely inflate it and anyone can do it, it is so effortless. Forget those noisy blow up mattresses or the 3 times as expensive pads from your favorite gear store (which probably are made at the same factory cause they look and feel almost the same). It's silent, great size - fits my 6'1" husband, material feels very durable and it's reasonably lightweight (you are not backpacking with it, so for what it offers, it's amazingly compact). Just get this pad and enjoy a good night sleep on your next camping adventure.

Excellent mattress for a good night's sleep camping.
Great Camping mattress and customer service..... It’s great to get up in the morning while camping – after having actually slept – and not have every joint ache! We are very happy with the Hikenture mattress. The mattress is made out of good quality material and is comfortable to lay on. It may not be lightweight enough for long distance backpacking, but it is great for comfort when sleeping in a tent, wherever you put the tent. We used it on a camping trip to the Thousand Islands about two weeks ago and it worked great. We especially like the self-inflating and one-way valve/bellows design for final inflation. It is a bit more work to get the air out when deflating the mattress, but again the one-way valves help. The first mattress we received had a small tear near one of the values and unfortunately leaked air from that tear. This defect was something that likely happened during the manufacturing process. Hikenture was great about dealing with the problem! After some initial confusion about the return, I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed that the company was replacing the defective mattress with a new one, even without us needing to return the first one. Thanks Hikenture! I highly recommend this mattress and value the company’s customer service ethic.

Durable, comfortable, and quality product
I found this to be a very comfortable and supportive camp mattress. I had no problems inflating it. I used it in my apartment when I was waiting for my bed to arrive and would be comfortable sleeping on it anywhere. Too heavy for backpacking for me but a stronger person maybe

I think this will work!
I bought the single size mat, and I was worried it would be so huge and bulky, but it rolls up smaller than I feared. I have been looking for a camping pad that is not only comfortable but wide enough not to feel restrictive, and provides real insulation, unlike a regular air mattress. I haven’t taken it camping yet, as it just came today. But I put it through several tests here at home. First, I let it self-inflate for 20-30 minutes since this was the first time. It did need some extra air from the pump sack, but not much. The thickness is very comfortable, and the size is luxurious. Then I laid on it on a tile floor in my basement where it stays a bit chilly. I’ve tried this with an air mattress and the cold comes straight through. Not with this pad. So far, so good. The final test was whether I and my bad knee (fractured patella at the end of last year) could get this deflated and rolled back up to original size. The answer to that was yes. I was able to get it back into the bag, fit the bag into the plastic bag it was packaged in, and back into the box quite easily. Now, I’m the type that can easily roll a tent or a sleeping bag to fit in its bag too, but if I can do this without the full use of one knee, perhaps you can too. Also, a twin fitted sheet will work on the single size. The pad is a little longer and a little narrower than a standard twin size mattress, but it’s close enough. So far, things are looking good for this sleeping pad.

This baby is HUGE
For some reason I thought it would be smaller rolled up. I was planning to use it for motocamping but my bike isnt big enough to transport this behemoth down the road in my bag. Decided to keep it and use for car camping with my cot or as a temporary bed for guests at my house. Ingenious filler valve and air bag for inflating (note: valve literally flips around to either inflate or deflate) and works quite well. Nice welds on all seams and I slept on it on the floor the first night, very comfy and materials are high quality. Rolled up in the bag its nearly 3 feet long and nearly 11 inches around. Not bad for car camping though. I will keep it for the quality and utility here at home.

Does not Last; Not worth Money
EDIT #2 Second one stopped holding air so we cut it open. It’s just a piece of foam with grooves for the air. Air comes down edges and enters each groove. Not much space for air at all. Leaking air leaves you with only foam comfort unless your hip hits a groove, then no comfort. Reduced to one star. One star for amazing comfort when it does work. EDIT: I got one good season of camping out of this mattress and then it would not hold air anymore. We worked hard to test various possible problems and to find any holes to fix it to no avail. I used it about six times before it failed me. I am very disappointed because it is extremely comfortable, but for the amount of uses, it was costly. I'd do better with a buying a cheep air mattress multiple times than using this. We have another one that is still working okay, but my husband who is about 50 lbs lighter than me is using it. I have a hunch it is my weight that it did not hold up to. Time will tell as I am going to use his now. We got a smaller tent that is easier for old people to carry and set up and our beloved air mattress was too big. Seeking a different option I found these. I like the 36" as I need the room when I stick my knee out as a side sleeper. The 4" thickness is perfect as I never feel the floor and it is comfy. I made the mistake of airing it up too much with the bag (10 puffs) and it was too hard and found that 4 puffs was perfect in addition to the self-inflation. It is easy to deflate and roll up after initial "hugging the air out" practice. We bought two and put one queen size fitted sheet over them together. We have used them several times and they are holding up well although some reviews say they do not hold air after a period of time, we have not tested them long enough. Crossing my fingers that it stays good. I did note that it is important to screw the cap on right and tightly after getting it the way you want it. I wondered if people were not doing so. The first time I did not do that and it deflated on me. Subsequent times it did not do that when I secured the cap properly.

Really comfortable
I've only slept on this outdoors once, so I can't make claims about durability, but I'm really happy with this purchase. I bought two other mattresses in the same price range and returned them. This one I am keeping. It inflates to the full promised 4 inches, and it does so quickly, maybe 20 minutes. It is very comfortable, more like a regular foam mattress than a puffy, sloshy air mattress. The fabric of the pad is very soft, the valve operates easily, and the cap seals well. The stuff sack works well to add additional air to the pad if desired, though I prefer the pad without the extra air. Other reviewers have complained that it is difficult to get into its bag, and that is true. I have lots of experience rolling up self-inflating pads, and it is still a very tight fit in the bag. Also, this smaller "stuff sack" is not long enough to cover the full sleeping pad, it only covers about 3/4 of the pad. Note that mine came with two bags, the smaller one to keep it rolled up, and a bigger tote bag to carry it around and protect it. It would be nice if the tote bag had a shoulder strap in addition to the two nylon carry handles. There are also two long velcro straps to tie around the pad and keep it rolled. It would be nice if they were permanently attached to the pad. I will surely lose them, but they are not really necessary.
